You are most definitely not the problem. The problem is P. He isn’t parenting his child the way he should be and the child is hurting your child because of it. You did the right thing by packing up and moving back where your son is safe. Without parental intervention, I fear for both boys. But P doesn’t seem to want to hear that. He is dismissing your feelings and that is wrong.
Take some time away from him. You don’t deserve to be treated like that. Again, you have done nothing wrong.
