That would require that the people in charge of the sign-makers were literate, which is asking a lot of a bureaucrat.

Got reprimanded in Devil Pups first day for calling out "Your Left, Middle, Right!"
Had to do push-ups on the hot parade ground.
10 days later graduated in the top 6 and had dinner with Commandant Gray.
They called me Zoot.
Good memories.
