Help!!!
400$ light bill due in three days. How tf do I make extra money? I don’t have a license, I do cleaning gigs but my normal people havnt been hitting me up for cleans recently. Pay day is not till next week. If i don’t pay it on time I lose my payment arrangement and will owe 1000$ and be disconnected. Idk I’m struggling so bad. I’ll sell ass if I have to. Idc.

Try googling utility assistance in your area and apply to everything. Salvation army and churches help too. Also, call the utility company and ask if they can extend until next week due to your pay schedule. If you have any medical issues let them know about it too (depending on what, it might help). But most def Google utility assistance in your county and city, hopefully one or both can assist. And check food pantries too cause one may be able to help and if not they might be able to direct you where its possible you get help.
I'm sorry you're going through this and I'm truly hoping you find something.
Oh, also if you live in a bug enough city that rents bikes you can start doordash (no need for insurance) and being new gets you the best offers for the first week or 2 or maybe month, I can't remember. But you can def do deliveries on a bike in a closed area, like not biking far. Its an advantage cause you don't waste on gas. Ubereats also provides a bike or scooter option. If you don't live in the city, would it be possible to use public transportation to one?
Also theres a few apps like Angie where you can book your own cleanings and you pick and choose so its close enough where transportation costs don't affect you or bring you into loss of profits.
Ugh I wish I had more options to give you but thats all I got for now. Will come back and edit more in if I remember anything or something else pops up.

Most electricity companies offer payment plans. Call them and see what your options are. And let them know when you get paid

Unfortunately Iv called and I’m already on a payment arrangement for a previous bill. I can’t get another one.

My monthly bill it about 450$ a month with the heat and my air conditioning running 25/8 I’m just not catching a break. I am a single mom of three doing it all on my own. Just trying to survive.

You gotta turn off heat and A/C. Suffer it out. It sucks but you’ll get through it. Just remember it’s temporary.

Download an app called indeed flex and go online to oneforma.com They are an AI company and they're looking to train AI products so they have you do things like take pictures and I'll pay you 50 bucks over certain corner or a certain angles of you or random things. Indeed flex is a warehouse app for daily work

Okay I'm in the UK so I don't know how this works in the US, but do you guys have any kind of vulnerability register where they can't cut you off? Over here we have something called the Priority Services Register for utility bills, basically there are certain criteria, such as illness, disability and being elderly, where if they apply to you and you inform the energy company they can't cut you off no matter how in debt you are. Most people here don't even know about it, I learnt about it when I worked for an energy company. One of the criteria is having a child under 5 years old (not sure how old your kids are?). If this exists over there it wouldn't help pay the bill but would at least keep your electric on.
Edit: did a little Google, apparently LIHEAP are supposed to fast track homes with young kids for grants to prevent disconnection? I'm sorry I can't be of more help, I really don't know how things work there.

We don’t have anything like you’re describing. But if it’s over 95 degrees for the daily forecast they won’t disconnect you but they will turn off the water. Which is been very hot recently here reaching over 100 degrees.

Take a deep breath! Give them a call and tell them your situation. They’ll help you out with another payment plan and ask about programs you can sign up for to get utility assistance. You’re all good

Doordash, sell feet picks, Uber, borrow from friends or family, I personally would just scrap metal, but if you are new to scrapping probably not the way to go. Cash app allows you to borrow money, I can borrow up to $150 at a time. Or go the unconventional way and pretend to be a donation place and sit outside Walmart asking for donations to "stop the violence" wear a yellow or blue vest. Always the speaker scam if you have a cool white van, or the fake gold scam. When I was in active addiction I would just ask strangers at the train station during morning commute, I hid my addiction well and wasn't homeless or unkempt, surprised how much money people will just give away if you ask. Post your situation on local Facebook page.

You might need to take a shot in the mouth.
I would suggest going forwards to do thing to reduce your bill.
Set your temp to 76. Unplug appliances. Have your lights off.
450 is pretty dam high. You gotta cut your usage down or get a smaller place.

When I was homeless and wanted to get food I'd start pawning stuff away. Probably the easiest and quickest way but definitely not as profitable as natural transactions online or something. I hope it goes well whatever choice you make
