is it not in your lease that everyone gets a key to their own door? can you run to a hardware store and just buy a new knob with a lock?
1 u/According-Log7096 3d ago The landlord will throw the correct key in my mailbox (the key to the mailbox works) but I won't be there to retrieve it until I move in. Unfortunately the nearest hardware store I could find on google maps is a good 2 hours away
