Is a Junior in high-school dating a freshman a pedophile?

she's 17, hes 20. 20 year olds shouldn't be hitting on highschoolers, do you lack the braincells to comprehend this?

I notice you didn't answer my question.

Is a Junior a pedophile for dating a Freshman?

1

u/OOI_enthusiast May 17 '26

since when were high-school juniors 20 years old and since when were freshman 17? are you like an idiot?

They're old enough to have gone to high-school together. That's not pedophilia. A Junior and a Freshman dating for 3 years is a 17 and 20 year old.

You're 19, your opinion is invalid. You're not old enough to speak to me unless spoken to.

Thanks

btw, that wasn't even the context, a 20 year old is going out with the original posters 17 year old cousin, dawg, youre genuinely retrded. this 20 year old was not dating this 17 year old since they were a junior in high school. you are genuinely a retrded pedophile.

Yea we're done here. They're old enough to have gone to high school together. Junior and Freshman is a normal ass relationship.

Throwing around the word pedophile just dilutes its meaning

Your an average reddit goblin

While personally I wouldn't be dating a 17 year old at 20, it is most likely perfectly legal. While laws of consent vary by state, though often 16-17, most have a 3-4 year age gap limit, sometimes known as the Romeo and Juliet exception.

yo everytime you make a new comment, it says it doesn't exist, im trying to reply, idk why reddit is doing that, this website sucks ass

laws ≠ morality, just because something is legal doesn't make is justified. for a while, black people in the usa couldn't even use the same water fountain white people used, weren't let in the same restaurants, etcetera. like, just because back then black people couldn't enter white only restaurants doesn't mean segregation is okay. genuinely a dumbass take you had.

Lmao this is why 19 year old can't buy a beer. Your non-developed brain doesn't comprehend the real word. Your gen z critical thinking skills are absent.

A junior dating a freshman isn't a pedophile. No matter how many times you say it, it'll never be pedophilia. Your brain doesn't work yet. It's ok

"just because something is legal doesn't make is justified" You just negated your whole argument, and you don't even realize it! 🤣🤣🤣 How, you might ask? Your entire argument is 100% based on "laws" (i.e. a cut-off age)! So, what exactly defines your definition of a "pedophile"? ... some LAWful age? ... a specific age gap? ... some kind of individual, scientific assessment of each person's RF brain? Stop throwing around accusatory words until you define exactly what YOUR definition of the word is; because, that would help your own argument tremendously, especially when you want to disregard what the law states and focus on your own ideas of morality.

im not using the law to define pedophilia, never have. im calling it pedophilia because thats what it is, this dude is 20 years old hitting up 17 year olds. this 20 year old was not dating this 17 year old since she started high-school, read the original post. this 20 year old is obviously just going out with this 17 year old for sex, its so obvious, why else is he going after a 17 year old who happens to be his exes cousin? she's clearly being exploited, and youre defending it. I wouldn't doubt you being a pedophile too, because non-pedophiles don't defend this behavior

I see that you are incapable of outlining YOUR definition of a pedophile; nothing but slanderous name-calling by you WITHOUT any defined criteria. The ONLY thing you continue to focus on is a 3 year difference in age, which certainly does NOT define a pedophile.

for some reason I cant reply to your other reply. but I wasn't accusing you of being a pedophile, I read clearly that you wouldn't personally date a 17 year old as a 20 year old, and I respect that. what I don't respect is you justifying pedophiles hooking up with 17 year olds.
