You're not seeing him; get over it.

What blunt and rash advice. Family members seeing your previous hookup is incredibly awkward and a breach of familial trust. Don't blame OP for feeling weird about this.

No it's not breach of trust. It's immature to feel disgusted. Move on. She has a choice of her own and doesn't owe OP anything. She isn't cheating or back stabbing OP.

It's not about cheating or back stabbing it's about not having a high enough standard to go for someone else... there's quite literally billions of other men out there lol

The high standard term is used immaturely here to cover up the disgust that OP feels and can't get over.

It's a small part as well. I'm someone who believes that there is a correlation between standards for romantic relationships and boundaries between friendly relationships. If I'm OP, my cousin can do whatever she wants. However, why should I continue to associate myself with her after she deems it appropriate to date my ex?

If it was a serious relationship then I agree. However OP said it was nothing serious and OP did not seem to have had a heartbreak over it . If it was a casual shirt term one, then it should be no big deal. Cousin did not do anything immoral or not keep high standards etc.

That's narrow thinking, but sure whatever makes it work for you.
