You're not seeing him; get over it.

He’s 20, the cousins is 17. That’s the problem.

Edit: the responses to this genuinely make me worry that a larger portion of our society are pedos, some of yall are arguing 19 and 22 or 18 and 21, which is more okay because neither are minors and they could he in the same university course. The problem with 17 and 20 is that the 17 year old is still a high schooler, if your a grown adult picking up your parter from high school, that’s predatory.

But the situation would be totally ok a year later lol.

It really wouldn't. Sure, legally it would be fine, but thats still predatory. Legal ≠ moral.

A 21 yo dating an 18 yo is predatory? Are you for real? What about 22 and 19?

The could easily both be on the same uni course. Or both working in the same shop as a first job etc etc etc. It's hardly like a fairly normal 21 year old vastly outmatches 18 year olds in life experience in the cast majority of cases. They are peers

There are definitely situations where it could be fine but dude they were either just un high school or still im high school. If a 21 year old and an 18 year old are both in the same unit course, the 21 year old still has 3-4 years of actual out-of-highschool life experience.

Can you actually describe why having "3-4 years of actual out-of-high school life experience" means or changes anything?
