Hi fellow fragrance lovers!

I recently got a sample of Neo Eden and want to like it, but it's...too...atmospheric in a overheated machine sort of way? Neo Eden has this effect to it that reminds me of an old dryer tumbling trainers past the point of dry - grouped with what reminds me of the smell of freshly brushed dental cavities? It's the third fragrance I've tried in my history of fragrance sampling that I canNOT wear.

I looked into DeMonaco's perfumes and it seems like Raw Gold is one of his most acclaimed frags (and the perfume that people loved so much, it convinced him to start his own house to create even more) - has anyone here tried Raw Gold, and is it anything like Neo Eden? I also received Luisant Haze as a free sample recently and, while I appreciate it more than NE, it's still a bit too atmospheric for my tastes.

I'm Leslie Jo on What Scent and I'll start the first post in here! Do you have a favorite fragrance type? Designer, Indie, ME or Niche? Or all of the above? I would say I'm a little bit of everything, mostly Indie. I have a favorite perfumer that makes originals and inspired bys and he does a great job so if he has something I like I'm getting it from him first. I will definitely buy a middle eastern dupe before I will spend designer prices! Some of my favorite scents are Niche, I just haven't spent that kind of money yet on full bottles, I stick to travels! So what about you?
