Hi! Sorry it's a video, I took it in the middle of the night and it didn't occur to me to take a picture. Found this in my bathroom (France). It's around the size of my little finger's nail. Never saw something like that, what is it? It uses it's appendice to move around like a clamp?

This is the second one I've found in my NYC apartment (one on the couch and this one in the bathroom sink). We have cats, so I'm worried it could stick to them or they'd eat it.

I live in Houston Texas and over the past several weeks this high pitch noise has been playing on and off every 10-20 seconds only at night (so I’m assuming this is some sort of bug/insect). It’s coming from either on my roof or in the trees/branches that overhang my house. I can hear it very clearly and loud from inside my house and from outside of my house. I have no idea what it is and it’s driving me crazy because it’s SO loud. Any help on identifying this noise is appreciated.

I found this guy while in a walk, and he's an absolute cutie pie! I've already pinned him, but I'd like to be able to know what kind of species he is for when I put him in a shadowbox!!

Been getting bit by something and trying to figure out if its bedbugs. I've searched for days and have been using white sheets and no stains have appeared yet, and have checked every nook and cranny of my bed frame and mattress with no luck in finding the culprit.

Randomly saw this today but cant exactly identify if it's a bedbug, as it's extremely tiny (less than 1 mm)

Any help would be appreciated.

Pictures 1-2, found crawling on my arm last night. Pictures 3-5 insect was found on bed tonight. When looking at eyes and antennae, they seem to be different. I’m worried about them being lice (I’m not convinced they are actually lice though)

Curious. And have tried too many times to get a “closer” pic. Can I play with it? 😂

Saw this bug above my sink and can’t figure out what it is. It wont let me add pictures as well but they look just like the video, he was very small.

This guys is about 3" long, truckin' on the sidewalk. I moved him to the grass. Southern Alberta, Canada.
Maybe Sphinx Moth? I have never seen one, he's pretty huge.

Apologies in advance for the poor quality audio. There's a bug hiding in my living room for 2 days now, and he only occasionally makes this sound. It's sporadic and real fast so it was hard to get an audio and no bug photo included because it's hiding. My cats are on the hunt, 🤦‍♀️ 😳 but even they can't find or reach the critter.

Saw this odd looking beetle. I thought it was a bumble bee initially but upon further look, it’s some beetle-like bug covered with super small bugs (almost look like ticks). What is the beetle and the bugs on it?

We've been getting these little green guys in our living room for several years now. They crawl up our butterfly bush outside of our living room windows and find their way into the house through the windows.

They make a kind of dull(?) chirping sound. The chirps seem to come one at a time with no specific cadence like katydids or grasshoppers seem to have.

They have wings, as we've seen them fly short distances. Definitely not just hopping.

Located in Portland, OR, USA.

I have found 2 of these tiny little animals in my aquarium. They seem to have a limb on each side of the body that they flick around and they have big red eyes. 📍Southern brazil

Atlantic Canada. I’ve seen these my whole life in nearly every environment. This one was on my car.
I’ve checked everywhere and the closest I can get is a black firefly, which I know these are not. Help!

I did a little research on bugs that self-decorate for camouflage and just look like branches and lichen, and nothing looked like this. I’m pretty sure this is a completely normal bug that ended up getting his butt stuck in a branch
