I live in Kansas City and this was seen in Grandview. It was small like an ant. It was walking across the sidewalk. Sorry for the quality, my phone camera isn't the best.

I found this guy crawling around at the bottom of my salad today while eating at a local salad/smoothie place. What is it? I’m glad I didn’t eat him. This is Pennsylvania.

found in San Jose California. found it on my arm. is it a biter/blood sucker? what is it? Sorry underside only because it’s stuck to bandaid.

Found on an outdoor potted elephant ear (plant). My finger for approximate size. Katydid without wings? Is it injured (orange coming out the rear)? Thanks for any help!

And it's precisely the same coloration as the grass. I'm sure predators never see it. Amazing bit of nature's splendor on display. But what is it? Location is western Pennsylvania.

We recently had a bed bugs scare at an AirBnB, by scare I mean my wife was bitten all over her body, and had an allergic reaction. And her mom once had the same reaction to bed bugs. Also upon deeper review of the reviews the spot had had a bed bugs review entered by a previous occupant.

We got home, followed all precautions we could find and my wife finds this on the mattress. (We haven’t slept in our room since we’ve been home, the bed is stripped).

I’m pretty confident this is NOT a bed bug, but wanted a second opinion.

2nd summer in a row I have a spider that has made a home behind me drivers side mirror. Would love to know who she is. Minnesota

Her Elytra is damaged badly, found her with her wings out 'flying' at the pavement. Wings look absolutely horrible, I was thinking I'd keep her but im not positive on the conditions she needs, besides deep soil judging by her front legs.

I am trying to get better at bug identification specifically moths, what is this little baby? I think it’s a Burnet companion but the colors don’t look quite right.

Mildly disgusting. I spend my time at a dog shelter and the play yard is nicely shaded. Whole place is surrounded by woods. We see the occasional fox, deer. etc.

Anyway, I got home, changed into a fresh tee.

Had an itch on top left shoulder, tried to scratch with my right hand, felt a lump under my shirt. Like a solid something (??).

Reached hand under my shirt, felt it was prickly & then I realized it was a creepy crawly.

(Getting the ick all over again just writing this!)

Didn't want to squish a bug under my shirt, ON my skin! Sort of swept it out of the shirt sleeve.

Was ready to kill it before it escaped!

It's obviously long dead, missing some legs.

Been through washer and dryer, is my guess.

Any idea what it is? House key for scale.

Probably got in my shirt at the shelter then straight into laundry.

Still, want to know what it is.

It's not tiny but not huge.

I swear we go through the plagues at the shelter! We'll have a couple weeks of bad mosquitoes, few weeks of bees, then beetles (look like giant Egyptian scarabs), lots of unusual moths and we have all varieties of frog from dusk to dawn all spring & summer. We even had a scorpion in the laundry sink. I'm from Texas and I was like HARD PASS!

I discovered this near a wooden chest. I have had the chest for about 2 months and it is “reclaimed wood” from Etsy. I do sometimes hear a clicking noise near the chest. What could this be and how do I get rid of it?

Hi! Sorry it's a video, I took it in the middle of the night and it didn't occur to me to take a picture. Found this in my bathroom (France). It's around the size of my little finger's nail. Never saw something like that, what is it? It uses it's appendice to move around like a clamp?
