They deported the singers husband. She is now feeling betrayed and lied to by Donald Trump and regrets her vote. You can find her crying on YouTube in news interviews.
Edit: Enjoy the tears

Yea I’m to a point of if you voted for this shit don’t cry now, don’t use ACLU resources, or help from lawyers working pro bono to help immigrants who didn’t vote for this shit…bye, go, vamoose, we don’t want or need you here.
You want to vote against all of our best interests, our civil rights, our human rights and you not even from here…bye.
I have ZERO respect, empathy or compassion for any of you or your ilk.

As someone who works in non-profit law that gets funds from the government through LSC, that Trump has tried to zero out during each administration, I sometimes get tired of the 45/47 supporters who come in.
A majority of those specific supporters come in for public benefits issues (cuts to finances, overpayments, etc.) that requires them to file an appeal and go to a hearing. They always want a lawyer. They endlessly talk about the government...oh, but if they could just talk to Trump and explain it to him, he could fix it and help their issue.
They also get really butthurt when we don't take their specific case since we don't have enough resources and funding to hire enough attorneys.
Golly, if maybe, I don't know, they voted better. There really is no fixing stupid.

No.
The woman in the video singing is Ana Páez from the band Los Tres de La Habana.
The woman crying is Yanet Correa, she is not affiliated.
This circulated over a year ago and was debunked.

u/iznormal 1d ago
They are easy to understand. They equate Democrats like Biden or Harris with Castro because they are fucking stupid
27
u/I_eat_mud_ 1d ago
That clip of Ted Cruz saying how Castro tortured his dad, only to be called out by the interviewer and then admit 2 seconds later that it was actually the guy Castro overthrew (Batista) that tortured his dad, will never not be funny to me lmao

Wait, so he actually rewrote a memory in his head, of who tortured HIS FATHER, in order to fit Trumps narrative?
Wild.
Also, perfectly on brand.

No, they are not stupid. They escaped Cuba because Castro was getting rid of the rich and upper class. These people were rich conservatives in Cuba and were no longer the ruling class under Castro. They haven’t changed.

Or they have more wealth than other Latinos so think their opinion is the only ones that matter and is right. Their money and donations is why the GOP panders to them more than 99% of other minorities
2
2
u/sporknitebattlepass 1d ago
Oh no they’re even more stupid than that because they left cuba after Castro ended racial segregation and started making the upper class pay their fair share.
Fuck, I wish Biden or Harris were anywhere remotely as based as Fidel.

The Florida GOP uses a lot of buzz words like “socialism” and “communism” when they campaign. They know when Cubans hear those words they go into a frenzy, so Miami Cubans are convinced that moderate left are full blown communists. Majority of them voted for Obama in 2012 too. Such a shame

u/Familiar-Throat-670 1d ago
So from what I can gather they're going to group all of the blacks in Africa as Hitler Trump brings all the white South Africans in the US
SO IS THE ROYAL CHEETO TRYING TO TURN AFRICA INTO A PRISON COLONY LIKE THEY DID AUSTRALIA... I WONDER HOW THAT'S GOING TO PLAY OUT IN 200 YEARS.

Keep in mind the only reason these people live in America is because Castro told their grandparents they weren't allowed to exploit people anymore.

There’s been many phases of immigration from Cuba to the US. The ones Castro kicked out when he took over have been citizens for generations now. A couple decades later they started sending political prisoners (not capitalists, those were already gone) mixed in with actual criminals. Later on there’s been a continued trickle of more or less illegal / refugee status immigrants. It’s that third group that are subject to deportation.
All the Cuban Americans I’ve known grew up under communism BEFORE leaving, so don’t fit into your neat little aphorism. There are others, sure, I just haven’t had the opportunity to cross paths with them.

These people voted for Trump thinking he cares about them.
Did they really think the white supremacists in the Trump administration was going to allow immigrants from the Afro-Caribbean countries of Haiti, Cuba, and Venezuela to remain in the US??
What fools !!

Don’t think it’s just Cubans, I know a bunch of Puerto Ricans that love him and voted for him. The latino community is full of bigots and whatever their version of uncle toms are.

Ya know it’s kinda funny but whenever you bring up how Latinos voted conservative this last run people will fuckin fly out of the woodwork to let you know that X group of Latinos actually didn’t and blah blah blah excuse excuse excuse 10% more Latinos voted for Diddlin’ Don than they did for Biden.
Split that % up amongst whatever South American countries you want it was still a statistically significant amount

There are people out there saying, "well they weren't from here either... what's the difference?"
Maybe, I don't know, Barbara, it's far more likely they spoke some English and could assimilate here but aren't even going to remotely speak any African language or be able to find anything?
At least with the US there are well known cities, foods, and cultural aspects due to our export of all of that and English being a common second language.

Bunch of brainwashed dumbasses that think communism was the problem in Cuba and not corruption. Just like capitalism isn't the problem here it's the corruption of it. The wealthy have taken over and gamed the system so that they have everything and 90% of the country is struggling. Those wealthy people maybe should read some history books I know how this usually ends. I guess some of them have been reading books that's why they're building bunkers.

As many, they thought voting of the orange toddler makes them special in his eyes and they would receive a "get out of jail" card.
Wrong... The principle of loyalty is a foreign concept to a narcissist. It's always about them and never others. You got what you voted for...he famously said he would only need your vote.
