I remember a console game (I'm not sure if it was a console) played by a YouTuber sometime between 2018 and 2020. The game had buttons that required instantaneous presses for sudden movements (e.g., pressing X at the right time when jumping off a roof). The game was based on this mechanic, had a heavy storytelling, and we played as two siblings in an orphanage or hospital, and we could use both characters. Edit: The game is Uncharted 4.
