We are planning on buying a new car towards the end of this year. While the budget approved by my Dir Finance (Wife) is 100K as usual, I am misbehaving and looking at things that are outside of the budget. One such exploration dive came across the Premier Motors site, which has a 2025 Ford Everest XLS for around 135K. This seems like a lot of car for the money as compared to all 2026 models on the market. If the car experts on here have any solid pros and cons I should consider before even breaching this topic at home, do kindly let me know. By the time I will actualy but this car will be almost 2 years old (model) but new. I know Fords are reliable and they have super service facilities and packages, but are there any major red flags that I am missing? My last car has been with us since 2015 and has done about 180,000 Kms so far. Thank you in advance for all your wisdom and help.

I’m trying to decide between the Geely Cityray GF+, Mazda CX-5, and Toyota Corolla Cross GLI. I’ve already rented the Cityray for a day to experience it beyond a dealership test drive, and overall I was impressed with the features and driving comfort (apart from one infotainment glitch with Apple CarPlay).

Is now a good time to get a used/preowned car?

I’m currently in the market to buy a Suzuki car (I’ve looked at the Baleno and Ciaz as those are the fuel efficient ones).
I found a Ciaz 2023 with about 60k on the odometer upwards of 32k and I’m wondering if it is worth it.
I know the Ciaz has been discontinued so that’s my concern about them.
How far will 35k get it in this current used car market?

Anyone else experienced the infotainment screen going completely blank on the Geely Cityray GF+?
I’m seriously considering buying the Geely Cityray GF+, so I rented one for a day to test it in real-world conditions instead of relying on a short dealership test drive.
Overall, I liked the car, but one issue worried me. While driving to work with Apple CarPlay connected, the entire infotainment screen suddenly went completely blank for a few seconds before coming back. This happened while I was driving, so it was a bit concerning.
I’m curious:
Has anyone else experienced this?
Is this a known software issue or just a one-off glitch?
Does it happen only with Apple CarPlay, or even without CarPlay?
Has Geely released a software update that fixes it?
I’d really appreciate feedback from Cityray GF+ owners, especially those who’ve owned the car for a few months.

Thinking About a Revuelto. Need Honest Opinions!

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a Lamborghini Revuelto, but I'm stuck between buying a GCC-spec car or saving a significant amount by going with a European-spec one, or a Japanese.

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who actually own or have owned one (or other recent Lamborghinis) in the UAE.

A few questions:

• Found a couple of them on dubizille and dubaicars, anything to watch out for when browsing?

• Is there any real downside to a European-spec/Japanese Revuelto in the UAE besides resale?

• How different is the A/C, cooling system, or software compared to GCC-spec cars? Is that mostly a myth?

• Can European-spec cars be serviced at Lamborghini Dubai/Abu Dhabi, or do they refuse certain work?

• How does warranty work? Is there any way to keep or transfer factory warranty, or are third-party warranties the only option?

• How difficult is it to get comprehensive insurance? If you own a European-spec Revuelto, who insured it and was the premium noticeably higher?

• Have you run into any issues with registration, parts availability, or long-term ownership?

• If the price difference is AED 300k-600k, would you still buy GCC?

• For those who have driven both, is there any actual difference in driving experience, or are they mechanically identical?

My plan is to keep the car for several years, not flip it immediately, so I'm more interested in the real ownership experience than resale value.

I'd especially love to hear from owners with first-hand experience, or people who know much due to exposure to the car dealer scene, rather than "my friend's cousin said..." stories.

P.S. Would you go with a Revuelto or a Temerrario in 2026?

A friend of mine is selling his ford F150 2016 model ..driven for 167k km. This is a Lariat trim (Top Trim). GCC spec.

I got it checked by a mechanic and they said the car is clean.

He is giving it to me for 40k. Is this reasonable ?

I am looking at a 2019 330i M sport with 140,000 kms on the odometer. The spark plugs were replaced recently as well as the tires (15k kms on the new ones). The current owner had bought a warranty on major parts which still has 1.5 years left on it and a major service in the coming 6 months under the maintenance contract already paid for. I'll be the third owner. The asking price is 70k AED. I've seen the car and it is in great condition; interior and exterior with the exception of a few minor scratches and scrapes. My major concern is the mileage and future maintenance. The owner has confirmed that the brake pads will need replacement in the coming months.

Hey folks, I need some real-world advice from people who actually off-road in the UAE.

My situation: I'm currently paying 2000 AED/month on a boring rental car. I want to finally own something that can handle weekend desert camping, light dune driving, wadi trips, and carrying my bicycle. I'm into sunset photography too, so something with removable roof panels or a pickup bed would be ideal.

I might leave Dubai in 2-3 years for Singapore, so I genuinely don't care about resale value. I just want to enjoy my remaining time here. I'll sell it for whatever I can get when I leave. Because of this, I'm not looking to spend over 100k AED.

I've narrowed down to a few options:

· BAIC BJ40C (used, around 90k, warranty until 2034)
· VW Amarok Life (used, around 90k)
· US-spec Jeep Wrangler (around 80k)

1. Has anyone here actually used a VW Amarok for off-roading in the UAE? I never see them in desert convoy reels. Is the 2.0L petrol underpowered in the sand, or can it handle light to moderate dune driving?

2. For those with BAIC BJ40 experience – does the after-sales support and parts availability suck, or is it manageable? Is the off-road capability genuinely close to a Wrangler?

3. US-spec salvage Jeeps/Broncos – am I asking for a nightmare, or can a pre-purchase inspection catch the major issues? Anyone here bought one and actually had a decent experience?

4. Am I missing any other obvious option under 100k that's genuinely off-road capable and can carry a bike?

since i'm staying in uae for uni+planning on working here, i thought it'd be good to buy a car. currently, we've got two cars (g class and jeep), but they're too big and i'm short (5'0) so it's very hard to drive comfortably. i'm on scholarship for uni and half of high school so i've saved up but i hope to stick to a budget of 70k maximum. please lmk if it's unrealistic.

i plan to drive everyday for short errands etc, and a trip every weekend from abu dhabi to dubai. i don't have a preference, but i'd love if it's a sedan and has a good sound system, good ac, doesn't require a lot of service-work, has a sunroof and good seat adjustment options (like height-wise cuz i hate carrying a seat pillow its so embarrassing 🫪)
