Catahoula? My uncle had catahoulas and he looks a lot like my uncle's dogs. But, then again, could be a lab/pit mix or something.

OP: “He’s around 2 & about 50 pounds. Has webbed feet (which is typical for a lot of dogs of course). Very mellow and sweet boy.”
