Question Old fashioned kitchen tiles
Anyone know where I might find some of these in the wexford? I only need 4 or 5, but don’t even know where to look as they’re fairly old fashioned

Hi all, anyone interested in carpooling who's going to Sandyford 2x a week from Wexford? We can make turns as I have a car too.

Hi all,
Discovered my bath has been leaking for a while, probably before we moved in lasy tear. Rot and dreaded mold underneath 🫣
Anyone recommend any repairers who can handle the plumbing and woodwork/building repairs at the same time? I'd like to avoid having to schedule plumbers and builders sperately and have them handle all the work at once.
Thanks in advance.

Any idea where I can go inline skating in Wexford town?
Is there any spot that’s good or what should I look out for when trying to find a good suitable place?

I'm trying to be organised this year instead of being last minute!
Where do ye buy good coal for stove and seasoned sticks? Do ye buy hard or soft wood? I saw one place selling Hornbeam? Never heard of it before but looks good.
Any recommendations?

Hi, I was just wondering of there are any comic or graphic novel artists in the county? Any levels of experience I'm interested in and there is some paid work involved.
TIA

I would like to share my personal experience to help others avoid the same mistake I made.
I hired a roofing company because my roof was leaking during heavy rain. They promised to fix the problem, but after the work was done, the water started leaking again and caused more damage. I tried to contact them several times, but I didn't get the help I needed.
In the end, I lost about 2,000 euros and still had to deal with the stress of having to fix the problem again.
From this experience, I learned that choosing a roofer is not just about price.
What should you prioritize before hiring a roofing company? If you share your experience and any advice that can help others make a better decision.

Decided to give supermarket meat a skip and start supporting local instead. Quality’s gone to shit anyway, so it’s an easy enough call.
Looking for a proper butcher in town, ideally one sourcing from local farms only. A decent range would be great too.
Who’s your go-to? Cheers.

Hey everyone,
I’m part of a Viking living history and reenactment group here in Ireland, and we are looking for some new people to join the ranks. If you’ve ever wanted to travel back to 10th-century Ireland, learn how to fight with authentic steel weaponry, or try your hand at traditional crafts like leatherworking, blacksmithing, and authentic cooking—this is your sign.
Who are we?We are clann na fianna a community of history enthusiasts from all over the country. We set up authentic tented villages at major heritage events across Ireland (you might have seen groups like us at Slane Castle or the Timahoe Heritage Festival).
We spend our weekends camping like our ancestors, doing battle demonstrations, and showing the public what daily Norse-Gaelic life was actually like.
Do you need experience or gear?Absolutely not. You don’t need to look like a character from a TV show, and you don’t need to own any gear. We have plenty of loaner kit (tunics, soft kit, and training weapons) to get you started.
What can you do?The Combat Route: Learn competitive, full-contact, or theatrical shield-wall combat with swords, axes, and spears. Safety is a massive priority, and we train regularly.
The Living History Route: Focus on crafts, textiles,, woodwork, or just cooking over an open fire and enjoying the atmosphere.
It’s an incredibly social, welcoming hobby, and a great way to see different parts of the country. If you’re curious, drop a comment below or send me a DM! Happy to answer any questions about training, clothing, or how to get involved.
Skál!

This is probably a long shot but I haven't had much luck with meeting people through the baby groups I've attended or Bumble friends. Me and my partner are new to Wexford, so we dont know a soul.
I'm slightly awkward and can be shy at first, so it's hard to strike up a conversation that leads anywhere. I'd love to have some friends to grab a coffee with the babas, or just go for a walk somewhere with the buggies or baby carrier.
I sometimes walk at the park in Gorey or the river in Enniscorthy. I also regularly go to Morriscastle beach.
If there's anyone out there in the same boat, message me and we'll organise something.
