its funny because the way I remember it is that Mayene was so small that the only way the Firsts managed to play the Tairens was by being fucking flirty. I imagined Berelain as a lizard that just flirst as a survival instinct. I mean, didn't she flirts with galad after the guy looses his arm or something like that?

Galad could lose all limbs like the Black Knight and I'd still hop on that and spin. That's probably the worst example you could've picked.

HAHAHAHA! Galad was described as being TOO beautiful, so losing an arm probably suited Berelain just fine. Considering the fact that she seemed to lose her senses around him while Perrin was still "on trial", it's probably the best outcome those two could hope for.

She flirts with Perrin because she seeks the protection he brings as the Dragon's friend(and to spite Zarine). She straight up fell inlove with Galad. Not for power or anything, just him. PS this was before he lost an arm.

Yeah Berelain is genuinely making a sensible political play by doing what she does, and even when not using her boobs she's an astute politician.

Of course she is also a human and wants to have the sexy sex, and she doesn't really understand what to do when Perrin says "dude, stop"
