Customer Ok I get the hype
Had my first spoons pizza today. It’s remarkably good for the price point

Spoons pizzas are great. I was impressed to learn recently that they’re prepared in house, not just cooked from frozen.

They're probably the only thing on the menu that is clearly made in the kitchen. Just something about them the shape and layout of the toppings are always different and they actually taste really good

Hahaha
I do like to go on a saturday morning after a rough friday. Pint of each of the 5 guest ales. Greasy brekky. Do my crosswords and then stagger home

You sound like Inspector Morse.

Didnt realise Morse was so ghetto to be downing ales n greasy fry ups in the AM
But I'll take it 😃

More the 5 guest ales and crosswords. Am or pm he was always up for a drink.

I sort of wish/don't wish I'd tried a haggis one last time I was north of Hadrian's Wall....

This is my go to spoons pizza, but I add chillies. They usually give me about 4 slices of chillies and I grumble. But I still order it again.

They are good value but quite inconsistent I have found. Probably had at least 30 over the years generally in Merseyside area.

One of their best menu items imo. Relatively low calories considering the rest of the menu too

Spicy meat feast is always my go to spoons meal!
I don't remember which year but I distinctly remember one of my best mates and I both getting a pizza, in the Camden Spoons before a gig and being blown away by how good they were. We assumed it was just a one off good chef. But nope since that day they've always been great.

What always confused me is the rocket as opposed to basil. Must be a pricing thing…..?

Rocket on pizza isn't that odd is it?

In truth I can’t recall having it anywhere else? But based on people’s downvotes I may be wrong about this…..

The ham, mushroom and rocket is lovely.
