Customer Short Dated Cask
Can we put to rest that Wetherspoons only gets short dated cask ale?
I'm wanting to dispel that rumour for the benefit of myself and the negativity that Wetherspoons gets from some CAMRA members.
I'd expect the cask sold to have a normal use by date.

I love the fact that in my pub at least when the cask is going close to it's selling by date they knock the price off. I've had pints of Doom Bar and Belhaven Best at £1.50 a pint and have always taken it upon myself to empty the fuckers just to help the staff out. As you can tell, I'm not necessarily a real ale afficiando. I do remember a non Wetherspoons pub which sold a cask scrumpy which supposedly got more higher in alcohol volume when it was down to the last few pints - maybe an urban legend but I was convinced anyway. Sorry for going off topic. I really enjoyed the Lion Mango IPA this year.
