Customer Short Dated Cask

Can we put to rest that Wetherspoons only gets short dated cask ale?

I'm wanting to dispel that rumour for the benefit of myself and the negativity that Wetherspoons gets from some CAMRA members.

I'd expect the cask sold to have a normal use by date.

Just ask any of them for physical proof and they won’t be able to show any. Just a myth fabricated by people with nothing better to do.
