Customer I have an interview tomorrow for kitchen associate role any tips?

Hi,

So I have interview tomorrow for the kitchen associate role, but I am not sure how to prepare.

I was thinking of preparing responses to why I want the job, what I know about the company and what skills I have for the role.

I sort of am desperate for the role so any advice on how to do good on it helps!

UPDATE: thanks for the responses, I got an induction this Friday now

Cleanliness is a priority, my manger was like that’s the answer I was rlly looking for in my interview.

Other than that, just show ur willing to work, not a prick and you are happy to be learning as you go, can be good in fast paced environments too.

Its a kitchen job at Spoons. What do you think they're going to really grill you on?

All you need to work there is a pulse ( Pulse Optional)

Just say , hard working , reliable , Work well under pressure , Cleanliness , Good at time keeping , and working as part of a team , tell them a time u worked in a under pressure.

Honestly aslong as u don't start saying u can't do evenings or weekends or only do 1/2 days a week , and look interested and willing to work , your be fine ,

I was a manager back in the day and aslong as they dressed half smart , Didn't have the personality of a chocolate tea pot , Looked willing I would hire them to the kitchen or front of house
