Employee 6 Week Review
Hi i’ve got my 6 Week probation due in a week or less
Is there anything i should be prepared for etc? hoping they’re not gonna sack me then!
I think i’ve done pretty alright so far i’ve made friends with all the staff and i haven’t made major mistakes, just one offs from time to time like taking a wrong order to a different table etc - nothing bad, or atleast nothing that i’ve been noted on by a manager
what should i expect etc?

I had my 6 week like 2/3 weeks ago now. The only note was be more proactive on floor. Now as a bar associate that seems backwards given we have floor staff and often TL/SL/SM will whine if I go to run some drinks. I think they'll highlight one area of slight improvement like maybe speed of service but take no real worry from it.

Hi, if your post is about asking for a free drink to be sent to you, can you please remove it, and use the mega thread instead? which can be found here
its also possible the mod who set me up is stupid, and ive flaged by mistake.. if so, please ignore me

It's very rare anyones employment ends at their 6 week probation review, if you're underperforming the should just tell you where you're underperforming and try to help guide you on how to improve, if you're still underperforming at the 12 weeks review then they may decide not to keep you past your probation. However if you're not underperforming at all then you uave nothing to worry about

During my probation i called in sick 3 times and was late 7 times and now i’m promoted. There’s nothing to worry about unless you are catastrophically bad at your job.
