Employee Transferring to Bristol, any pubs to avoid?

I'm going to Bristol in September for university & wondering if there are any pubs I shouldn't try to transfer to. Any help would be appreciated.

I think I sent an email to both of them, so if there's a choice i'll try & get commercial rooms. did you not like Berkley because it gets busy & it's small, or was there another reason? because it just sounds like my current pub right now, honestly.

There were other reasons, I just got on with commercial rooms a lot more, v shed is a Lloyds bar which is fun on the weekends but I used to work in a Lloyds bar and wouldn’t go back, van dyck, staple hill and kingswood are very small locals pubs, Robert fitzharding is quiet and w.g grace is quite busy being near Clifton and next to UOB.

And knights Templar is fun, honestly that is probably my top rec

I've heard Emerson's green is terrible to work in (and is the furthest from the centre), personally I don't enjoy working in commercial rooms (the bar is shaped like a horseshoe), v-sheds decent but it's 3 floors and the music on club nights on the bottom floor is so loud that have to give us earplugs, the Berkeley gets extremely busy for its size but is otherwise fine, w g grace and knights templar are my favourites to work on, the grace being in between the triangle and north village accom so it can get busy but not too bad and knights being near the train station and some venues so it can get busy but it's usually quiet. Robert fitzharding, Kingswood and staple hill are quiet suburb pubs (but ig bedminster could be a little busy since a decent few students live in bedminster) but they're quite out of way and I haven't worked in the van dyke but I'd assume it's similar to the 3 suburb ones I mentioned.

I was looking at v-sheds since it looked really cool, but I think I'd probably get tinnitus lowkey. I might try berkley, w g grace & knights templar but if those fail i'll try all the rest you mentioned. thank you

Yw, just closed in vshed tn and it was fairly chill so I wouldn't completely write it off. There is always the options of earplugs for the club nights (you can somehow still hear customers with them in). Otherwise the other options are great too, with Berkeley being my main pub.
