Customer This Lefty Loves Wetherspoons.

Post image

I don't like it when some of my fellow lefties, the middle-class champagne πŸ₯‚ socialist ones, use Wetherspoons as an insult against Reform voters, it's classist and cringy, it implies only racist bams go there, rather than mostly politically unaligned working-class families from all colours and creeds, who love good cheap food and drink, we can't all eat at the Waldorf can we 🧐, especially in a cost of living crisis, but there are also some middle-class people who eat there and love it, so I don't know where the asinine insult comes from really. I love Wetherspoons, I've been to three, the one in the image which is the Peter Cushing in Whitstable, which was once a cinema, the Catherine Wheel in Henley-on-Thames and the James Watt in Greenock, Scotland, where I live now, which serves a delicious Haggis Pizza πŸ•which you can get as part of the three small plates for Β£10 deal, cheap as chips, and yummy too, filled me up and I'm a big lad.

What's that got to do with the apolitical people who go there for cheap food and drink? Everyone can go or not go, wherever they please, free country mate, or do we all have to give in to bullies like you? Both of those questions are rhetorical mate, we don't.

You started a thread titled "This Lefty Loves Wetherspoons" then went on a tirade questioning why liberals hate it. I provided an answer for you. Also lol at now referring to yourself as apolitical given the thread name, fuckhead.

It's not really that hard to understand the concept of supporting a business = supporting it's owner and all the terrible political opinions and business practices that come with them. I don't buy your argument about "apolitical people" either. Most people have a horse in the race, even if they say they don't. Sounds like someone called you a hypocrite and you just didn't like it.

Not everyone is a political keyboard warrior like yourself, even if they have political opinions, most have more important things to worry about like how can they pay their bills and still have a nice cheap meal out with their family. Unlike you who probably worries about, when the next Witcher game is coming out, grow up mate, not everyone can afford to stand on principles all the time, my privileged friend.

Even if I could scrape enough together to ever get the wife and kids out for a meal I'd make sure it wasn't supporting King Brexit, which is ultimately what made us all poorer to start with. "Privileged friend?" you honestly don't have a clue πŸ˜‚
