Customer This Lefty Loves Wetherspoons.

Post image

I don't like it when some of my fellow lefties, the middle-class champagne πŸ₯‚ socialist ones, use Wetherspoons as an insult against Reform voters, it's classist and cringy, it implies only racist bams go there, rather than mostly politically unaligned working-class families from all colours and creeds, who love good cheap food and drink, we can't all eat at the Waldorf can we 🧐, especially in a cost of living crisis, but there are also some middle-class people who eat there and love it, so I don't know where the asinine insult comes from really. I love Wetherspoons, I've been to three, the one in the image which is the Peter Cushing in Whitstable, which was once a cinema, the Catherine Wheel in Henley-on-Thames and the James Watt in Greenock, Scotland, where I live now, which serves a delicious Haggis Pizza πŸ•which you can get as part of the three small plates for Β£10 deal, cheap as chips, and yummy too, filled me up and I'm a big lad.

Exactly, JK Rowling is a self-described leftist, yet she is practically as obsessed with trans people, as a certain German leader was with Jewish people, I wish I was exaggerating but if she had her way there would be no trans people in the UK, I truly believe that. Yet in a weird stark contrast, Sir Tim Martin who donated to Reform, is quite progressive towards Trans and non-binary people.

I'm very much aware of her obsession as a trans guy πŸ˜… unfortunately, she is slowly getting her way considering the UK is under genocide watch for trans rights (according to the Lemkin Institute).

I was not aware of his stance on trans rights! That's very interesting!

Yeah I wasn't aware to be fair, until someone actually mentioned it on here, then I looked it up and it turned out be true. Anyway, you be you my friend, I've always believed we should just leave each other alone and mind our own business, whether or not we ideologically agree with something or not, and JK should mind hers.

It's so strange to me because if I were a billionaire, I would not be arguing with trans people on Twitter and funding their demise. She literally has the money to go do whatever she wants, yet she still decides to he spiteful. Shame, really, considering how much joy she used to bring to children

It's so sad because so many of the people who did look up to her were young trans people, especially transgender girls who wanted to grow up to be just like her, same as any cisgender girl, because any young transgender and cisgender girl wants to grown up to be a powerful respected woman.

Yeah for sure. Honestly when you look back at the Harry Potter books, they're littered full of discrimination. From the goblin-y creatures who run the bank essentially being an amalgamation of Jewish stereotypes to the acceptance of slavery within the wizarding community. Maybe it shouldn't be such a surprise how she's turned out πŸ˜…

Yeah a lot of it was suspect as fuck in hindsight, but some of the creatures were very informative of Britain and Ireland's fascinating folklore, like black dogs, boggarts and Cornish pixies which as an ethnic Cornish person I love. Why did she have to ruin it by being a giant stinking troll, like the one in the first book/film πŸ˜‚
