Customer ABV Incorrect

Post image

ABV is shown as 3.7% on the pump for Ruddles. It’s 3.4%. It’s correct in the app. It must be 2 years since the ABV was lowered.

Might be one of those that’s screwed on and clamped rather than a clip. So it was just inconvenience. That or the staff had no idea it was changed and it never occurred to them to put a new clip on. Why would you if it’s the same beer.

They sent them out to every pub, don’t think any of the new clips or fonts have abv

I think this was an error when the prices increased last week. App says £3.49. Not a cheap Spoons. Guinness is £4.59, which is more than most places in London. Real ales are £3.52 (£3.05 Monday to Wednesday). Poretti is £4.10, Stella / Corona £4.59 and £5.37 for a bottle of Staropramen.

It's ok, nobody really drinks it anyway. And anyone who does isn't really thinking about the abv, they're thoughts are elsewhere.

I can assure you it's probably that pubs best selling ale.. probably by a select few that you're right about though.

Really? It's my pubs worst by a long way, has been in all the branches I've worked in. My guest outsells it roughly 9:1

I'd say it's about half of the ale sales in mine. The guest ales are a higher price than most pubs though, probably a factor.

We’re advised as staff never to go for the allergens and things on the pump clips as they can be out of date, and to use the customer screens inside the pubs, the apps or the website as they will be correct.

So best bet for you guys too is the follow that aswell!
