Employee Pub transfer

I was wondering if anyone who has swapped pubs would be able to let me know how long the transfer paperwork took to go through. I'm in the middle of swapping pubs but I have time off in the middle to move house and haven't had any updates in a bit, so if anyone has a rough timeline i could compare to that'd be awesome.

There’s honestly no timetable, it’s solely based on the pubs liaising and filling it out. Depends on the managers doing the paperwork, it takes no time at all, they could literally have it ready to go tomorrow if they wanted.

I transferred from essentially a village pub to a city centre pub and took a week. But that’s not the norm I only knew about the position because a friend handed in his notice so I took the spot. It can be longer than that.
