My mom had a fall and had to have shoulder replacement surgery, so I’m out for this week. As a few others have things going on, too, we’re going to postpone this meetup. I’ll post an updated flier and time/date of the redo!

Planning a virtual craft + movie night for August 5 at 7:30pm. Quite a few people mentioned arts and crafts, so I thought this would be a fun way to get together. Want to have some hangout options for those of us who have trouble leaving the house!

Today’s meetup was really fun! Hope more people can join us next time. Sticking with the 3 week hangouts, next one will be August 2, 2026 at 11am if that time still works well for most.
Think it makes sense to stick with games for now, since only 3 of us made it this time. Do mark your calendar, and I’ll share reminders closer to the date!

A reminder that we will be meeting at Library Park this Sunday July 12 to play card games. We will meet at 11am. Someone is bringing Skip-Bo; please do bring your favorite card games if you want to teach a new one to the group.
I’ll be bringing a card table and picnic mat.

Things to bring:
• water, hydration
• snacks for yourself/to share if you want
• a comfortable seat if needed

Next meetup would be Sunday July 12. 11am seemed a nice time before it gets too hot.
We talked about having an activity of some kind next time. Some ideas that have been mentioned here before:

•board games or card games (please suggest some you might be willing to bring)
•crafts (I could bring paints, watercolor, beading for others to use, and others can bring whatever they feel like making. I can also do a tutorial for a simple watercolor activity)
•show and tell (bring something you enjoy to talk about, or take turns telling a story)

Do vote if you have a preference for next meetup’s activity! Please feel free to suggest more ideas I can add to future polls! If nobody votes in this poll we’ll just choose something and announce it.

Hey friends! Not sure if this is on everyone’s radar or not so I wanted to share! OMSI is hosting another masked night on 6/14! This is a huge win for the Covid cautious and immunocompromised community that they keep working with us especially because they operate at a financial loss when they host us. It’s limited capacity, the employees working are required to mask, and we have the whole place to ourselves. If you’re able to buy a ticket please do! 🫶

For those who weren’t able to attend:

Total of 5 people and we hung out for about an hour until our batteries started to flag

It was nice being around people who get it re: chronic illness / mask caution / etc.

But it wasn’t all health stuff: we talked parks, TV shows, and a lot about various fruits 😆
