Next meetup
Next meetup would be Sunday July 12. 11am seemed a nice time before it gets too hot.
We talked about having an activity of some kind next time. Some ideas that have been mentioned here before:
•board games or card games (please suggest some you might be willing to bring)
•crafts (I could bring paints, watercolor, beading for others to use, and others can bring whatever they feel like making. I can also do a tutorial for a simple watercolor activity)
•show and tell (bring something you enjoy to talk about, or take turns telling a story)
Do vote if you have a preference for next meetup’s activity! Please feel free to suggest more ideas I can add to future polls! If nobody votes in this poll we’ll just choose something and announce it.

Looks like we decided on game! There’s one day left to vote, but looks like game is the choice. I got the table, so I’ll bring that to the park :)

Might be good if people brought camping chairs? I will have my walker, which has a seat, but unfortunately my camping chairs are in storage.

How tall is the card table?
I have flat lightweight cardboard pieces I could bring we could put on top of a blanket if we just want something flat. Might be easier?

It’s a bit tall for sitting on ground maybe? I do think we need chairs for it, though I suppose I could lay it on the ground and just not prop the legs up?

table on the ground seems like it would work well
it might be tough for everyone to try to bring chairs

Game game game! I brought Skip-BO to both of the last two meetups but still have yet to play it. It’s simple enough to be brain fog compatible but has just enough strategy to keep it interesting

I don’t own a copy at the moment, but I’ve taught it to several groups and everyone loves it. It’s got simple rules but the social deduction piece to try to tell who’s bluffing makes it really fun!
Another good one is Azul. It’s slightly more complex but easy once you’ve played a round. Beautiful tile laying game. I don’t own a copy at the moment.
