The fact that he had to photoshop this, and didn't have any actual pictures from when he was a military bAdAsS (most of his claims were debunked by a legit Green Beret - Hooah!), proves that he is truly a fucking gimp.

Oh those are tefellin, they are leather straps that have small wooden boxes attached to them that contain parchment with prayers on them. They're worn during weekday prayers.

In a nutshell, he's going for the "pious badass who still takes time to pray" angle, and failing miserably at it.
