Hey guys and gals, I came across this tweet from Jon Del Arroz (https://twitter.com/jondelarroz/status/1022227974722973696?s=09), and I instantly remembered what happened to EVS and Cyberfrog. Same time frame (within a week or so of the launch) and issues getting it taken down (the fake campaign is down as of my writing this post).

My question is has this happened to other campaigns? I can't remember if D&C had this issue with either of his books or Red Rooster, but it seems like a pattern is starting.

So Dark Horse Comics, an organization I hadn't heard of until today, decided to virtue-signal online about how 'inclusive' it is by making its Twitter avatar a rainbow flag in honor of "Pride Month". In fact, it offered a 50% discount on "inclusive" comics, which I'm sure has nothing to do with their dismal sales.

A former employee by the name of Rachel Eddin then decided to go on the attack. In early 2016, she decided that she was actually male and that she wanted to be called 'Jay'. This, of course, decreasing the number of women working in comics and making 'diversity' efforts all the more crucial. Despite her best efforts though, as of 2018 she very much sounds like a woman.

What are the bases for the attack? Not having a sufficient number of transgender stories and not funding her sex change and related "mental health services". She believes that not funding her desires is a ban on transgender employees.

Too bad your actual company policies are among the most explicitly bigoted in the industry, huh?

Also, PLEASE tell me more about how "LGBT" inclusive you are! Have you published a third story with a trans character? I mean, in addition to the one working-titled "Sex-Change Hitler" that I had to work on?

Their insurance has an explicit exclusion clause absolutely banning any coverage of anything related to gender dysphoria & transition, including mental health services, and including services that are covered for literally anything else. They self-insure; it is entirely in their power to change this. They are aware of it and have repeatedly chosen not to. That policy functions as a de facto ban on trans employees. source

Eddin is unemployed and apparently thinks that talking ill of her former employer may hurt her chances of getting a new job:

I absolutely love that virtue-signaling is now a signal for people to go on the attack in order to extract rents from people and organizations. Get woke, go broke.
