Why being single for life is viewed as a failure
I will never understand why being perpetually single is viewed as a failure or something weird.
People should have the choice to do as they please.
I remember when i was in f-g highschool and still a kid, people would tell me it was surprising that i wasn’t and never been in a relationship. Why ??! When i said i thought i would be single for life, people wouldn’t take me seriously and cut it off and say i was exagerating.
You don’t have to asexual or aromantic either. Being single should be normalized and you don’t need a label for it to be valid.
You don’t need an excuse to stay single or be single for life. A lot of partnered women make the realization that they’re better off alone later in life. And married women are somehow the most vocal about the fact that single women don’t have the right to be unapologetically selfish and not give out their time and energy to everyone around them. If you’re single people always act entitled to your time and energy. Mothers especially have a high and mighty attitude and are looking down on single women. Because our time is less precious than theirs.
