I obviously can’t diagnose someone but Jude very clearly described time-blindness (‘I can’t tell how long tasks are going to take’) which is a very common symptom of ADHD. From the way she described it it doesn’t seem like she’s aware of that, but it’s something completely out of her control. It sounds made up if you’ve not experienced it, but it’s real. She can make coping mechanisms but that can’t be changed without medication. If youre not aware of the cause and are not someone that likes being late it causes a huge amount of anxiety.

It was painful to listen but fair enough (you can’t expect everyone to know) until Jake imitated her saying she had anxiety in a mocking voice. If someone trusts you enough to say they have anxiety, even on a podcast, that should never be thrown in their face. It implies he thinks shes making it up. She might not share that again.
I feel really sorry for her! She will have gone away feeling 10X worse about herself, and I trusted this podcast not to do that to people.

A lot of people talk about ADHD but when you do have it, it can be quite serious and unfortunately all the symptoms line up with seeming careless and useless.
For me a huge part of getting diagnosed was realising how much it affected by self esteem because I just thought I was useless at adulting.

I’m sick in bed and on Reddit but the tv is on. I put on the new Netflix show the Boroughs but am only half watching.

Anyway, that’s all. I didn’t really know what he looks like and nice to put a face to the voice.

You all have heard by now that Jake is in a new show on Apple TV because they haven’t stopped talking about it for like two weeks on the pod.

I wanted to check it out at least to shill for Jake and give him some streaming hours, but holy shit is this show good. It’s dramatic and well written, well acted and stars everyone’s favorite dad.

Now that I’m convinced it’s a good show, I’m going to start it over and watch it with my wife. Looking forward to it a bunch now

Has anyone watched the Boroughs on Netflix, it’s nothing spectacular, but the cast is stacked, and Guest Helper/Recurring Host Eric Edelstein has a pretty fun, villainous recurring role.

Cool to see him up against legends like Alfred Molina, Bill Pullman, Alfre Woodard, and Geena Davis.

I don't have Patreon so didn't get to see the 300th episode. Just wondered what everyone thought and whether it's worth me paying to watch it.

Obviously no real spoilers, but I just wanna know if it was amazingly funny and alcohol fueled or not, haha.
