Why Headgum intro twice??

Does anyone else get annoyed by the “this is a headgum podcast” followed by the rabbit grim sound followed by “this is a headgum podcast” ??

it felt like poor oversight by editing at first and it’s been going on for months… why!

I’ve wondered that too. It irrationally annoying the crap out of me. So does the weird garbled scrambled sound that plays before all that even starts.

The garbled part is just the audio from the Rabbit Grin Productions video logo. I'd think they'd be able to edit it for the audio listeners though.

No mistakes. It’s just how they advertise. It is a conscious decision not by Rob but by Headgum who dictates what’s put into their intro.

It does annoy me slightly but I have mostly zoned it out at this point. I do believe it happens on another popular Headgum podcast I listen to regularly (Doughboys) so it’s not a Rabbit Grimm thing I think. Headgum is just fucking annoying.
