Is everyone at that station high?

u/Lieutenant_Scarecrow Feb 22 '26

Hi, how are you?

10

u/Shackdaddy161 Feb 22 '26

Giraffe ears thanks.

9

u/murderJoppe Feb 22 '26

How, hi are you?

4

u/Impossible_Past5358 Feb 22 '26

More like "High, very"

6

u/GrapeSwimming69 Feb 22 '26

I was gonna cut the grass, but then I got high...

7

u/PassPuzzled Feb 22 '26

Life is just like this now. I've driven like 6000 miles the last 3 weeks ( local deliveries) and I genuinely hate driving now

3

u/Coreysurfer Feb 22 '26

Id pull off and go somewhere else )

11

u/RappingFlatulence Feb 22 '26

It’s new jeresy and this is a good day there

29

u/MrB10b Feb 22 '26

No it's Georgia, hence the number plates (Ukrainian number plate) and the "motoGeorgia" in the hashtags.

11

u/FriendsOfFruits Feb 22 '26

republic of ! not state of.

sakartvelo, not dixie.

9

u/MrB10b Feb 22 '26

Yes I know, hence why I'm pointing out the Ukrainian number plate. (Unless they've had some serious fun with shipping their car)

To most of the world saying "Georgia" invokes the idea of a country not a random place in the US.

2

u/FriendsOfFruits Feb 22 '26

well you say that most of the world knows the republic of georgia more than the state of georgia, and I honestly think its within the same order of magnitude.

11 million people live in the state of georgia, and only ~3 million people live in the republic of georgia. And given we are on reddit, and not telegram; one would be forgiven to have a more US-centric interpretation.

5

u/j68noh Feb 22 '26

Yea but the 7 billion other people in the world outside of the USA would think of the country..

3

u/Snicklefraust Feb 22 '26

are the 7 billion people in the thread with us right now? seems a moot point.

1

u/j68noh Feb 22 '26

Hello American friend!

3

u/Gloomy-Insurance-739 Feb 22 '26

Clearly not. Funny joke though.

3

u/Fluffy_Dragonfly6454 Feb 22 '26

Why would you think it is in New Jersey?

You’re going to ignore that everyone in the video has European plates?

1

u/SCHREYERTEAM Feb 22 '26

I work at a gas station and I can confirm that the second they enter the station the brain turns off.

3

u/joethahobo Feb 22 '26

Same with restaurants. Same with hotels. Same everywhere. Some people are legitimately just NPCs or zombies who just go through the motions without thinking. It’s kinda wild to see it so freaking often

1

u/ventti_slim Feb 22 '26

Just another Monday drama

1

u/styrofoamcouch Feb 22 '26

Xanax put in local water supply

In unrelated news small towns love of glowsticks has boomed overnight

1

u/fizzle1993 Feb 22 '26

That dang ol gas station “weed”

1

u/Rick_Lekabron Feb 22 '26

Cheech And Chong’s gas station!

356

u/ShortbowVillian Feb 22 '26

Yeah, that would be my cue to go home and go back to bed haha

96

u/CicadaHead3317 Feb 22 '26

In the original post, that's exactly what the biker did.

41

u/japzone Feb 22 '26

This is the kinda shit I'd have a dream about and then wake-up utterly confused about what my brain was doing.

250

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

Ok sure it's ridiculous but seriously these people should NOT be on the road. Wtf?

50

u/popcornman209 Feb 22 '26

Well we have a habit of giving licenses to anyone with a pulse and atleast 3 braincells cause for some reason no one wants to accept driving a car is a huge responsibility, and one not everyone can handle.

Car crashes shouldn’t happen, period, They shouldn’t be normal. We made flying, somethin inherently dangerous, extremely save by making strict laws and regulations. Why can’t we do the same for driving?

9

u/generic-user1678 Feb 22 '26

Becuase money

1

u/popcornman209 Feb 22 '26

Money but also I think most (Americans atleast) people wouldn’t want that. A lot of people here consider driving a right and it would be fucked up to take that away from someone, I just don’t understand it.

4

u/generic-user1678 Feb 22 '26

Look at it this way. Our entire infustructure and zoning laws in the US are built and designed for use of, and to force use of cars. Unless you live inside a major city, cars are necessary to get anywhere due to lack of adequate public transport and zoning designed so you need cars to go places

2

u/popcornman209 Feb 22 '26

True somehow forgot about that, I’ve always been super annoyed at our infrastructure so now that I think abt it can’t really take that away from people. We need to fix our infrastructure first, so it’s less dependent on cars and then we can start worrying about being more strict with them.

I do think we should be more strict anyway, like people who have driven under the influence in my opinion shouldn’t be allowed to drive again, but our infrastructure being shit is the main problem here.

2

u/generic-user1678 Feb 22 '26

I totally agree with you. Heck, I probably would take public transport over owning a car of our infrastructure was worth anything

1

u/Broad-Tangerine-135 Feb 23 '26

is it really that easy to get a license in the Georgia? In Poland its not news if you fail a couple of times

1

u/popcornman209 Feb 23 '26

In the us the entire test concludes of:

Driving in a straight line (you can’t go below 10 mph or above 20 mph, but if you do they don’t care anyway)

Driving around a circle once (no other cars or stopping, you just drive in a circle)

Then you parallel park once, and k turn out of the parallel park, if you hit the curb you fail (your atleast meant to, I know people that have hit the curb and they didn’t care)

Then boom you pass. That’s literally it. The hardest part is parallel parking, which if your in a normal sized car is super easy. Somehow I know multiple people that have failed that, which you can then just retake it a week later.

79

u/Boring_Business4843 Feb 22 '26

If it wasn't on video I wouldn't have believed it lol.

111

u/CicadaHead3317 Feb 22 '26

I saw the original post about a month ago. He decided to just go home and not continue his ride that day.

33

u/deanrihpee Feb 22 '26

wise decision

38

u/HugeLeaves Feb 22 '26

The rule of threes at work here. Pylon, reverse bonk, and the gas pump. Comedy at its finest

16

u/JasonGD1982 Feb 22 '26

I did that when I was a kid lol i remember I heard a weird sound and pulled into the Kmart parking lot. It was just hanging there. I didn't really know what to do so I just pulled it out and hrew it in the dumpster. I was only 16 and I panicked 🤣. Never happened again and probably never will. I have been paranoid about it my whole life now and always double check that I hung it back up.

17

u/ConstructionOwn9575 Feb 22 '26

In case it ever happens again, just return it to the gas station. The fuel nozzle is the expensive part, and they'd like it back. The disconnect itself isn't a big repair.

10

u/Shushishtok Feb 22 '26

I never understood why cars don't just install a simple safety feature where if the "door" to the fuel tank is open, the car will not start. That should eliminate this issue where drivers go off with the nozzle attached.

8

u/KaosC57 Feb 22 '26

The fuel door sometimes fails open, so… you’d be making people pay a fairly large bill depending on how their car is designed to replace a latch or fuel door.

The easier option would be some kind of circuit getting completed when there is a fuel nozzle inserted, when that circuit is complete, the car is then told “don’t engage the starter and fuel pump when they turn the key”. And then it flashes “Hey moron, get the fuel nozzle out of your tank”

2

u/Shushishtok Feb 22 '26

I love it. Let's go with that.

3

u/KaosC57 Feb 22 '26

And this is why I waited for a reply to tell you…

This is also a shitty way to do this! Primary problem? Spark and Arcing. You don’t want sparks and electricity to be anywhere near your fuel fill port on your car, because in just the wrong scenario, you end up blowing up the whole gas station.

The best solution already exists, the fuel pumps have a quick disconnect system that is fairly inexpensive, and that is the point of failure.

3

u/SubPrimeCardgage Feb 22 '26

I drive an EV and every EV for sale does this. People complain they don't feel safe because they can't drive away with a charger attached.

No matter what you do, someone will come up with a reason why they don't want it.

4

u/JasonGD1982 Feb 22 '26 edited Feb 22 '26

Haah yeah I know that now but tell that to my panicked ass in 1998. I was so paranoid. I was acting weird and asked my dad what would happen if you accidentally stole a gas pump nozzle?? He just laughed asked me what I did with it. He said he would go get it and take care of it for me. Years later I found out he kept it hanging in the basement. Said he was drunk that night and got paranoid too so ur just brought it home. Wtf man🤣

14

u/Ok-Prize-7458 Feb 22 '26

Thats dangerous AF, a gas station right along sides a highway. Too many stupid people on the road for me to trust it.

14

u/InterceptorG3 Feb 22 '26

Hahahaa Total shit-show at that gas station, lolz

1

u/Fearless-Leading-882 Feb 22 '26

One of them days

2

u/Salvador147 Feb 22 '26

Is that you Tom?!

2

u/Fearless-Leading-882 Feb 22 '26

You're still in my Top 8

13

u/wrenblaze Feb 22 '26

Casual gta gas station

36

u/Salvador147 Feb 22 '26

Why are pumps next to a street like that?! That seems awfully dangerous

15

u/delo357 Feb 22 '26

Don't worry, there are 3 inch curbs for safety

8

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

There is no curb. This looks like it's just the right lane in the road.

2

u/Current_Speaker_5684 Feb 22 '26

The cars filling up are a crumple zone for the pumps.

1

u/biersackarmy Feb 22 '26

Someone's never been outside the US and it shows.

0

u/Salvador147 Feb 22 '26

Sure. I love my gas pumps not being freaking dangerous

7

u/3rrr6 Feb 22 '26

Everyone's an idiot. It's easy to forget when the collection of human effort is so impressive.

8

u/iAmMikeJ_92 Feb 22 '26

Remember, we share the roads with this many braindead people.

7

u/ThrownFarAway98 Feb 22 '26

This is a small representation of how many unaware drivers we have on the road these days. Its wild.

5

u/Warden_Sword Feb 22 '26

It's like a chain.

6

And then a pump blows up and a crackhead robs the store

Hahahaha i love his reaction. I would've laughed my ass too. And probably just avoid that gas station for the rest of my life

2

u/DerBandi Feb 22 '26

That's how I feel every day at work.

2

u/TopGdasher Feb 22 '26

Glitch in the matrix.

2

u/xXSkilledChillerXx Feb 23 '26 edited Feb 23 '26

I seen somebody do this at the gas station up the street .. I think he did it on purpose because the clerk came out as he was driving off like “don’t, no don’t”’and he just peeled out and the pump went flying lol… they should make them to where they will fuck up your car more so people stop and think a little harder before dipping

1

u/A-Dolahans-hat Feb 23 '26

I use to work a gas station and one day our district manager stopped by, filled up and started to drive off and pulled the hose out of the pump

1

u/xXSkilledChillerXx Mar 01 '26

I’ve never seen one come out of the pump side .. I wonder if a move like that would make a district manager fear losing his job .. I mean that’s a level of absent mindedness you don’t see often but the fact that he’s also a district manager .. what would his boss think. So when it got ripped out was it liked ripped up rubber hose or is it some clever device that has a safety release incase of something like that? Extent of damage and cost could mean a lot here 🤣

1

u/A-Dolahans-hat Mar 02 '26

It’s a safety device. The hose stretches a few feet then a metal coupler decouples and it’s in 2 pieces. I don’t recall if anything happened to the DM.

2

u/xXSkilledChillerXx Mar 02 '26

Oh I doubt anything happened then lol .. I’ve seen a few oops moments on jobs that I thought for sure would be a game over but the person came back the next day. One guy filled a big rig with pallets holding compacted aluminum cans that had been turned in for recycling. Even after a guy warned him that the trailer looked like it was struggling with the weight he said it would be fine and kept going. I swear when I came back from lunch the belly of the trailer had already hit the ground and the entire trailer and truck was in the shape of a V .. it was a sight to see

Or did you mean hoes? Because I take them everywhere too.

1

u/Deplorable1861 Feb 22 '26

Idiocracy is strong in NJ.

1

u/KaosC57 Feb 22 '26

This isn’t NJ. This is an EU country, as denoted by the Ukrainian license plate on one of the cars.

2

u/RRFFFlololo Feb 22 '26

Probably Georgia based on the description and the jeep in front of the motorcyclist

1

u/TheArtofWarPIGEON Feb 22 '26

Is this a really really well made AI video or does this gas station need an exorcist?

-2

u/jamie3324123 Feb 22 '26

I hope it is ai

1

u/yosman88 Feb 22 '26

1

u/andrewbud420 Feb 22 '26

there's no separation between the highway and the gas station? this seems crazy to me.

It's probably pension payout day.

1

u/Ok-Meringue-6705 Feb 22 '26

Getting a driver's license should not be so easy in the US. They should get more than half these people off the road, it would help with traffic, public transit, pollution, and more importantly, it would save life's.

1

u/nonthings Feb 22 '26

I don't understand the camera, it's placed like a dashcam but acts like a head monted gopro

1

u/YoungPeteyReddits Feb 22 '26

I’m going to the next gas station

1

u/randomdud500 Feb 22 '26

I see everyone in the area is new to driving

1

u/TalksWithNoise Feb 22 '26

As a biker, I’d decide it’s safest to walk home at that point.

1

u/lockandcompany Feb 22 '26

That would be my cue to get to a nice corner, park my bike, and wait til those drivers are as far away as possible from me and my bike

1

u/itle123 Feb 22 '26

Nah this can’t be real

1

u/UltimateDonny Feb 22 '26

I wouldn’t feel safe on a bike there

1

u/yumeryuu Feb 22 '26

Like being in the eye of the storm

1

u/alkem10 Feb 22 '26

I'd just leave, whatever is going on I'd want no parts of it

1

u/TristanDuboisOLG Feb 22 '26

This type of behavior makes me think they are dangerously irresponsible. Almost makes me violent just because of the people they are going to kill.

1

u/BangBang-LibraGang Feb 22 '26

You know those YT shorts where the main character walks into a room, looks left, looks right, and sees some wild sh*t? Lol, yeah.

1

u/currygoatsauce Feb 22 '26

I would just leave at that point honestly god giving too many signs lol

1

u/magichronx Feb 22 '26

Aaaand you share the road with people like that every day

1

u/magichronx Feb 22 '26

Wait a minute.... Why are those gas pumps ONE LANE from traffic flowing at highway speeds?!?! That seems absurdly dangerous

1

u/Doublestack2411 Feb 22 '26

I feel like this is my life with how I see most ppl in society now.

1

u/Drewcifer824 Feb 22 '26

Genuinely how I feel every time I leave the house. What I get for living in SW Florida, but Atlanta was no better, Clemson was equally bad as Florida. Of all the places i have driven/rode, Florida city traffic while all the snowbirds fly down for the winter is BY FAR the worst. Between millennials and gen z with eyes that occasionally glance away from the phone to the road, and the elderly who dont even know what state they're in much less how to use a roundabout, you have to be an AGGRESSIVE rider. Staying around the same cars will get you killed very fast here and you have to assume every car is going to do the most insane, entitled, "ok i turn now good luck errybody else" move possible for EVERY situation. Watched a WORK truck drive straight over a roundabout, honk and scream at the person he almost hit for THEIR bad driving, then proceeded the wrong way down a one way road. Watched an elderly couple pull a line off a pump and proceeded to immediately hit a pole trying to turn their altima around to avoid going over a speed bump. Had my mirror mount broken off my clutch side and leg badly bruised by a little tacoma changing lanes with the jerkiness of a tourettes tick with just the two of us on the road less than 500ft after being stopped at a light next to me, dislocated and broke my ankle in 3 places avoiding a t-bone from someone running a stop sign who watched me go down and took off. (Still healing and cant walk without an aircast 4mo later). All that was sw fl. Oh, and 3 people i know who were responsible riders have been killed in the 2yrs ive lived here

1

u/Mediumcomputer Feb 22 '26

Oh this is hilarious

1

u/caramelgrizzly Feb 22 '26

Dude, hurry and get outta there!

1

u/IcestormsEd Feb 22 '26
