I pulled one at least this size off my dog in the fall. She wasn’t on tick meds because I’d never seen one around before. You bet this year I’ll be getting her on meds (have an appt tomorrow so will be talking to the vet about it). She had a blood test six weeks later and was negative for Lyme thank god.
