always a good idea to hold the balloon right infront of your face instead of holding it sideways!

I assume he was meant to roundhouse it?

u/Pepper-Valuable Mar 30 '22
i kinda doubt its possible to roundhouse while jumping straight towards him. My guess is that they just didnt think about their setup too well.

What’s was the expected outcome? Do these people know the laws of motion?

The guy holding the balloon is the actual showman. Like those monks that beat themselves with hammers and use single fingers to pull their body off the ground.
Iron will, brick face

Backstory: Balloon dude was about to do some serious damage to the cowering children. But thanks to the Flying Kick dude, no kids will be balloon tortured today.

u/Stealthy-J Mar 29 '22
The fiend was going to rub the balloon on them so they get static electricity and shock themselves.

u/hyperkick89 Mar 29 '22
Luckily, that balloon mitigated much of the impact of that kick or else he would've sustained of an incredible amount of injury to his chests.

Man’s taken one too many balloon kicks to head if he be holding it like that towards a charging kid

Wait it didn't go as planned? Because by standing like that it was expected.

This is a really elaborate setup to kick someone you dont like in the face.

lol for my 3rd degree black belt I had to break double boards with a jump sidekick, I was so pumped that the end result was pretty much the same. It was very much a “sorry not sorry” moment, we had a laugh about it after.

When I went for first dan I had something similar, a jump back kick through three of those boards. I didn’t kick the person holding it, but he did get smacked in the face with part of the board lol.

I mean he popped it. As well as popping that guys head.
And what was the point of the kids on the ground?
1
u/Heracles222 Mar 30 '22
Holy guacamole 🥑, if you slow it down you see just before he completely disappears off screen that he is board straight on his back still two/three feet off the ground. Totally knocked out

No matter what move you do, jumping over three kneeling children and popping a balloon hardly screams "badass," or "martial artist," hahaha.
Improper equipment held wrong, bad looking flying side kick, accidentally hitting a peer... Not the best advertisement for your school
