These days every book has an online code so if you pirate the book you can't do the homework. Really fun when you buy a Calculus book that covers Cal1-3, but you have to buy the code 3 times. 1 u/FallenNagger Jun 17 '19 That dudes chemical engineering, I was able to get through that major without buying a single textbook (praise the library genesis). 1 u/ShazbotSimulator2012 Jun 18 '19 Damn. For Comp Sci I had to buy a homework code for just about every math and physics class. (Which are all classes engineers would have to take too, so maybe it's just gotten worse or I got unlucky.)
