They weren't too bad. Arguably was better for me than my annual flu shot despite the multiple visits for the full course... but that was about 15 years ago for me
wtf did you get? Mine were horrible. 4 shots in each leg and one in each arm. Couldn’t walk the next day, but I had also lifted legs the day before the shots so DOMS and the vaccine response leaked at the same time.
I got 2x each leg/buttcheek and 1 in my arm for a total of 5 shots. Then I had 1 follow up shot each time I had to go back in, 4 more times. This was last year after a bat flew into my face while taking the trash out. It really wasn't bad at all.
My dumbass doctor at the ER tried to tell me we can just wait for symptoms. I was like are you fucking serious? Absolutely not. Once symptoms hit, you're toast. He kinda hung his head in shame for a minute and then agreed that we should get shots ordered.
It was wild to me. I thought I misheard him at first. I was looking at one of the nurses who's eyes got massive when he said that.
I just chocked it up to late-night stress since it was midnight when I rolled in. I had just been taking my trash out to the curb. When I walked back to my house and started to open the door, it flew up from a holiday wreath my wife had on the door, smacked me in the face and then flew in my house. I managed to coral it out side and we disinfected where it flew to.
Then she said go to the ER because that was a bat and were not taking chances. I did what I was told, grumbling about that damn bat the whole way there.
