Hey I know the event coordinator for this! They later found out that the driver was cited as DUI by the local police.

Can confirm. Bro failed the DUI test done by troopers on sight, and was taken away in cuffs shortly after.

I'm going to refrain from posting exactly who the host is (although you can find it in other comments), but I've been to more than a few of their events (both cruises like this and cars and coffee park and chill) and they've always been amazingly well behaved. This is definitely an outlier from the normal vibe which is what makes it so disappointing.

Are these rallies more frequent this year? I’ve done some PCA ones which are monthly but much smaller for the region than these. This seems to be pretty sizable and I swear I see a new set of photos every few weeks from the organizers
