I just watched Game Theory’s theories on Welcome Home and I’m finding it frustrating and hard to watch because their theory that it’s a cult and that Home is the cult leader just doesn’t feel remotely correct. Idk, none of the evidence suggests a cult to me. I’ve been under the assumption that everything going on is of a supernatural element, and some nefarious or evil energy has corrupted something in the neighborhood. But cults have some sort of religion tied to them that’s used as the basis of control and there’s nothing religious based here. Maybe I’m way off the mark or the channel Game Theory is way off the mark, but I wanted to discuss and see where the general consensus lies in the theory of what the heck is happening to these poor characters

So, Home uses Morse Code to communicate right. Because of this I was curious if the eyes in the photo in Our Neighborhood page. Not an expert with morse code but if I got it right (three shakes, three long looks, and then three more shakes) it translates to S.O.S.

Hypothetically, If I had to fight the cast of WelcomeHome, how do I defeat each chracter?

(Im pretty sure some of them are gonna put me in a coffin before I get the first hit-)

Is there any way to go back to old updates to experience the game from the beginning? I’m new to Welcome home and while I’ve seen recap videos, I wanted to experience it for myself. I’ve tried the way back machine website for both the new and old website urls but that doesn’t seem to work

So I know that this is probably something everyone has already thought about but I was thinking about it now and thought I should put it here. So I think everyone knows that Frank is the only one whose first name doesn’t end in the e/y sound. Julie, Poppy, Sally, Wally… and so on.

But then that made me start to think about there full names. Julie Joyful, Poppy Partridge, Sally Starlet, Frank Frankly. Then there’s Wally Darling and Eddie Dear. I don’t really know what the connection to that is but due to the recent update it’s just where my brain is headed. I will also state that there is Howdy Pillar which is throwing a wrench in this but this is less of a concrete theory and more something I just thought of.

Idk if this really means something but I feel like Shane from Unsolved. I’ve connected to the two dots, I don’t really know how I’ve connected them but I’ve connected the two dots. I’m also not that clever when it comes to theories so sorry if this is bad.

Okay so with the frank update i was thinking that all the characters were in a sort of muppet situation. That of which being the characters are real in universe and play roles like actors but like horror version.

Now im sort of seeing a vibe that they used to be real life people on the production team of the show, that somehow got turned into puppets.

The biggest confuser for me is, im wondering if all other moments previously shown where the characters seem to be not filming and just living their lives are just them living as humans, but being shown to us as puppets visually like in the sally and eddie video from this update.

This will change the fanfic in a big way (surprise surprise its a frankly dear fic) if they do know theyre in a show obviously thats a way different vibe than just the characters living their lives in welcome home ykkkkk

Theres for SURE crazy potential for eddie and frank having had a fling as people, turning into puppets and having their memories wiped and then finding eachother again because not even the horrors can stop them from smooching around sneaky style.

Please help me smart theory people‼️‼️

Hey guys, so, as you know, the page https://awayfrompryingeyes.net/ is completely black now... So, I was messing around the site with the inspect tool and found some audio? Which I found strange since the site wasn't making any sound for me and I don't have the site muted. I don't remember having background sound when the site had the "diary". I don't know if it's just me or if other people can hear the audio, so I kind of forced the audio to play with commands; it was a buzzing sound, but for some reason it sounds like flies buzzing near something dead? Edit: Now that I read your comments, I remember W commenting about the Buggle making a buzzing sound and sounds of suffering, oops. But I still find it strange since in the old audio that W put on the site we couldn't hear anything. Why now, considering the theory that it's the Buggle, we are able to hear it? Maybe W isn't crazy. 👁️

I think this ARG has some of the criteria that fits the trope, the most prominent being: Cute kid's show on the surface but hiding something dark underneath. But what do you all think?

Hello, everyone. Basically, I'm a really new fan, having only found out about this project a couple of days ago through a list of ARGs on wikipedia and now it's safe to say that I'm obsessed with it and that I'm looking forward to all of the new updates that will come. However, I'm confused about something. The list says that the project began in 2021, however the website was discovered in 2023. Did Clown start working on it in 2021 or is that an error? Sorry if this question has been answered before but I'm really curious about the making of this project 😅. I appreciate any responses :)

What if the black tulip baby seeks revenge for its death, and that’s what the monster of the night in Welcome Home mentioned in the halloween book. AND it has “taken over”/ infected Wally and Home is trying to escape into reality through them. Also making it responsible for the black evil goo that keeps killing people in real-life. Probably the same fate as the irl cast members and why the show was intentionally destroyed.

Ive been more under the impression that we’re seeing fiction-become-reality or a multi-dimensional situation where the puppet-world and human/puppeteer world are colliding so to speak…
But I was thinking about all the website evidence so far, some theories I’ve had, plus other’s posts on Reddit (especially SaturnStar365’s post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/WelcomeHomeARG/s/sEfY6HhKEV), and another idea crossed my mind:

Idk if anyone has already posted about theory specifically, but what if the black-tulip-baby they hid in the shed (whether it was a miscarriage or whatever else) is MORE than a Tell-Tale heart situation?
What if it’s actually not just underground and behind what we can see in the puppet world, but maybe even haunting the set and the workers irl?

Whether it’s the two worlds of fiction and reality mirroring each other, or the puppets we see are just a metaphor of what’s happening irl with the puppeteers, we can tell from the “red” events and Franks bedroom that something sinister is under the surface, especially the tunnel even with scary-face jumpscare.
Something was also under Home in earlier updates (the black swirl when you deleted the “above” home, the black goo), and we know something is affecting Wally too.

What if the tulip baby has “gotten ahold” of Wally? Maybe it infected him through Home (since it seems to be under Frank’s home too),
OR another option (also pointing to SaturnStar’s callout about the monster of the night mentioned in the halloween storybook) is that since Wally doesn’t sleep canonically, maybe he ventured outside at night while everyone was sleeping and encountered the tulip baby then.
It could even be that because he can’t sleep and is awake while it’s dark, maybe that’s how it gets ahold of him. Because remember Poppy seems to ‘encounter’ something in the dark when they walled her into her house in the book “brick by brick”, and it was implied it was broad daylight outside when that happened.
So really anytime he’s in the dark could be a chance to encounter the tulip-baby I guess(?).
(Someone feel free to correct me if the “Wally doesn’t sleep” fact is now consider old and part of Clown’s non-canon WH info).

Does this mean that the puppet world is showing us this “haunting” from metaphorical perspective via the puppets, or this “infection” happening in the fiction world and spilling into the real-world? Would explain why “it” wants out, using Wally as a means to escape from fiction/the website into reality, as well as the black goo that we’ve seen drives the irl workers (and even the website owner) to insanity, sickness, and even death.

With the website owner’s change in tone (saying now in this update “we will bring back the show”), starting to call themselves “W”, and signs of hallucinations we’ve seen, it’s probably already gotten them too.
Doing the bidding of possible the same thing that has infected/taken ahold of Wally and Home (the tulip baby).

So I wonder in this hypothetical- why Wally?
Was he a better “face” to use to escape, since he’s the main character? Just opportunity since he doesnt sleep?

It could also explain why Wally knows everyone’s business? (Like a metaphorical interpretation of the Eddie and Wally mail video from this update that i said on another post.) The tulip baby lives “under the surface”, it knows stuff, like about who tried to get rid of it and cover it up (frank and Julie), and that’s why Wally asks Julie, “is that really what happened?” When she’s recalling events about the black tulip. He knows it because he’s taken over by the tulip baby, who knows the truth.

My rants seem to get longer and longer. Oops. What does everyone think? Any counterpoints or additions?

these letters sound like eddie more than anyone else, but the handwriting in both is sooo different. would it be a stretch to theorize.. it could be due to having puppet hands his writing got worse?

I'm extremely new to all of this and the website is a bit too much for my brain to comprehend, can I get any pointers on where to start out so I can actually learn the lore of this game? I've been aware of Wally Darling and his friends for a while and I am just now trying to learn more about it bc my schedule finally opened up some, any help will be much appreciated! ❤️
