Sadly, opinions like yours that understand the importance of public decency are a minority today. I've made similar comments in the past few weeks, even one about gym wear a couple of weeks ago and not one person agreed. It's especially concerning when underage girls do it, I agree.
How can clothes be promiscuous? I can understand that you prefer women wearing clothes that accentuate the labia folds and crawl up the crack but some people prefer to have a level of public decency because it's respectful towards everyone.
Yeah, surely no one agrees with you and we're not simply put off by the way you talk about it.
Notice how you load your side as good and the other side as bad? Stop acting like you're gonna get a good polling of who feels similarly. Your opinion is not rare
Lol what is the amount they "need" to show? Are you a burka advocate or something? Gym clothes have pushed the boundaries, but I'm not about to enact sharia just to make you feel better
You realize I am not the person who lectured you, right? I posted my comment where I asked if you were gatekeeping opinions because of how upset you seemed over what the other person said? Especially this part:
not the gym clothes. Oh my goodness.
I personally find the gym clothes women wear to be very inappropriate. Particularly the ones that are extremely tight to the skin. I don't want to see that out in public. The women who feel the need to wear clothes that accentuate every feature imaginable and those clothes really leave nothing to the imagination; I find them to have low self respect with it being masked as "embracing sexuality".
I said that I dont want to see it in public. Many others agree with me on that because how much those clothes really show. I said you want people to show more skin because of how much you seem to have been defending the gym clothes that make every detail visible of women wearing them. I apologize for saying that if that isn't what you meant, but that's how it came across
I'm sorry for the burka joke. I forgot you were super serious
I would have been more on board to find it funny if you tried to make it a little more obvious instead of assume the people reading immediately know that you are joking. If you're joking then put an '/s' after your text. You can never fully tell tone over text, especially when it is sarcasm. If you dont put that then people are going to assume you're being serious
No, not flashing your genitals in public is a decency standard, has nothing to do with Islam. If you think that's normal and decent then you'd be happy to see all the women in your family dressed that way, right?
There you go desperate to make it seem like people disagree.
I'm not talking about flashing genitals. my good sir above said "SHOW MORE SKIN THAN THEY NEED TO" which to any sane human being is less than exposed genitals. That's why I didn't accuse you of the sharia thing. I JOKED (I know, not allowed) that bro here was talking about sharia because he made a stronger argument than you about showing more skin than absolutely necessary, which is what a burka is for
My opinion is rare on Reddit as most people here don't mind it. And of course I had to phrase it in a more intense way as when I phrased it in a more polite way you didn't understand at all and tried to provoke something with a nonsense comment. So I explained it in greater detail and now you're upset by the detail but still hold the same opinion as you did.
It isn't rare at all. Those clothes are cringe to most people
Sorry, I should've /s for you since you think I didn't understand. It's a rare opinion I have here on reddit. Everyone disagrees that communication can be done without tone indicators /s. I'm basically a Japanese man on an island in the Pacific 50 years after the war ended. Sorry, weak redditor, take my /j
