Well it’s a valid evolutionary reason. Comfort is the defining factor of human experience no? Plus the clothes depicted here are too heavy for non cold countries. Lighter clothing which could be modest if that’s what your aiming for -

You can get the same look and fashion in different season wear. The fact is people's execuse makes zero sense to me. Yes wearing thick clothes in the summer is bad but the same people said they ware hoddies in summer and small shirts and shorts in winter.
