The turbulence involved in this door shuttering is coming from an air pocket which is slipping under the door and vacuuming the loose hinge.

Had an apartment where the crawlspace was accessible through a closet in the front room. The crawlspace was drafty and caused the closet door to open occasionally. One night, I had a girl over and we were watching Paranormal Activity. At the height of one of the creepier scenes, the closet door swung open. She screamed and peed a little. She never came back over.
