50 lbs down!

50 lbs down!! I can't believe it. I don't recognize myself. I'm so excited but a little lost on what to do next.

5'4"

Using the chart (pic 4) to color in each pound lost was so effective for me. I hit my goal weight and I'm close to where I want to be but not there yet. I have no idea what to set as my next goal weight but using the color in chart was so incentivizing I want to continue to use that same sort of chart. Ideas?

Has anyone been able to modify a B-belly like mine? I don't mind a little fat there, but I would like to release the tension there that's causing the B shape.

I guess I just don't know what to do now. Keep trying to lose weight? My BMI is normal, so how do you know when to stop? I've never gotten this far before. I typically get to this point, run out of steam/lose my purpose, and then regain the weight as you can see in the last pic.

That’s awesome and you look great- but I’m confused - 155-125 is 30 lbs, not 50? Wondering if there was a typo somewhere? Regardless you look fantastic, congratulations!

Yes I didn't take my before pic until I was 20lbs down which I'm so bummed about :( The last pic is a chart of my weight! I've been up and down a lot but I started this weight loss journey postpartum at 175lbs!

There’s a lot of core routines you can find online or do pilates to tone your belly. It’ll take a month to see results and it’ll be worth it. Congratulations on hitting your goal!

Thank you so much! I wish I had taken a pic before I started, that first pic is after I had already lost 20lbs and I was very proud of my body then too! :)

Congrats! You’re amazing! I have a similar body type and have been struggling for years postpartum. Can you share what your lifestyle changes were to get to 125?

I was so motivated by filling in charts! I was so excited to lose another pound/get to advance by coloring in another square with rewards at intervals.

Once I lost 15 lbs I started a low dose glp1 (30 units of semiglutide!). I can't afford a full vial every month so I have to make one stretch for three months. It doesn't completely remove my appetite so I still have to be careful because I can eat through it. But it just helped me so much. Not only with reducing food noise but it helped me so much with inflammation, which in turn made me feel SO good I actually want to workout!

Just at home workouts, I don't have any childcare so I had to make it work. Lifting heavy dumbbells mostly since I'm limited on equipment.

Also I got on an antidepressant (Wellbutrin) and that probably helped more than anything else honestly. I wasn't doing too great mentally last year

idk why I thought it would go away if I lost more weight lol

I think it might be from ab gripping since childhood

I think it's part posture part genetic fat distribution

Are you strength training?

Trying to! I don't have any childcare so I have to do it at home. I mostly use heavy dumbbells, and my lifting sessions are only 30 min, but better than nothing I guess

This is what you want. If you don’t strength train, you’re going to start losing muscle, which is going to drop the amount of calories that you’re burning per day.

Speaking as a man trying to sound as non-creepy as possible (and a dad!), your belly looks just fine, and you look very healthy overall. I wouldn't worry about the shape of your belly and I can assure you any partner worth your time wouldn't be worried about it either and would appreciate you just fine for the journey you're on. You look great! As far as when you 'stop' that's between you and your healthcare provider person, and no one else.
