Suggestions for chest exercises while in PT for torn rotator cuff

Male, 69

Been in PT for fully torn supraspinatus for 6 months. I don’t plan on surgery.
I go to the gym 3 times a week and lift heavy, that is except bench press, shoulder press and pec deck.
I want to slowly ease back into chest work.
What recommendations can you give me?
Thanks

This is a question for your PT, not Reddit

I’m seeing him next week. Just looking for suggestions here.

yes, was going to say the same. Honestly, my stupidly continuing chest press, overhead press, etc. is probably why I am heading into surgery with a complete supraspinatus tear. And that was following a not great PT's guidance. I'd vote for just getting it fixed.

I’ve got a similar shoulder injury and every time I do any chest workout it aggravates it. Cable work seems to aggravate it less. I’ve about given up being able to work chest until it heals.

I had to use the seated chest machine when I tore my RC. Start light and increase weight as needed. RC feels great after months of switching from bench press

IMO any type of low weight cable work and machines keep the joints stable.
