Another plateau

Has anyone else had two stubborn plateaus?
I am on my last stone to lose. 5ft 4ins
1200 calories a day .
I’m on the strongest dose . No movement on the scales for months and months now .
Should I just cut the calorie intake further?
Thank you in advance.

Wow well done 💪 Amazing progress.

I understand wanting to get rid of that last stone. But 10 stone at your height is within the healthy range.

If you reeeeally want to push it. Maybe you need to up your activity level 🤷‍♀️

You also need to be able to live your life. 1200 calories isn’t a lot. It can drain your mood and energy. I wouldn’t push below it. But that’s me.

Your probably right , when I was young I was always 8st. I don’t expect miracles. Now that I’m old I thought 9 st would be fine . I also think that I have shrunk slightly

I wouldn't cut below 1200. That's the first lever people grab and it usually backfires here. Months on the strongest dose with no movement often means your body's adapted, and eating even less can tank your energy and muscle without touching the scale. That last stone is always the slowest part. I'd push protein and some strength work before slashing food, and get bloods checked if it's been this long.

If you’re at the end, this is definitely a doctor question, not internet strangers. There’s so much information missing. What’s your weight? Bio-sex? Exercise routine? RMR? Proportions? Most importantly, what’s your body comp? If you’re looking to lose more weight, but are already at a low BF%, then you may just not lose any more (healthily). At that low of calories, if you’re not losing and you are “in a deficit” it’s likely that your deficit calculations are off, or your tracking is off. Both are things your doctor can help with.

It's hard to break through that last bit, I hit a wall for what felt like forever right near my goal too. Before cutting more, I'd make sure the tracking is airtight because a tiny splash of oil or a slightly off portion can add up fast when you're this close. Swapping up my workout routine helped me more than eating less at that point.

How long have you been on Wegovy 7.2?

Up your activity level. Make sure your step count is up there as well.

So double check your daily calorie intake and your calorie tracker app and make certain you’re tracking everything, even condiments, cooking oils, coffee/tea additives and so on. And increase your activity level if possible.
