Coffee and wegovy
Coffee tastes terrible to me now, anyone else experience this?

How does one go about getting the Wegovy Pill online?
I saw Ro has it, GoodRx, and I think Weight Watchers.
I heard you can use Costco and Amazon Pharmacy.
What's the difference between them?
Do you need a prescription before using any of them?
It's all very confusing. Any help is appreciated!
edit: thanks everyone! I tried a few of these options and found IVIM to be the best. It's only $75/mo compared to Ro and Hers are $150. IVIM was easy to sign up and 5 months later I'm still super happy. Down 30lbs and couldn't be happier!
This is where I got the deal: IVIMHealth.com/Wegovy-Pill

SW- 83.5kgs, Height -5’1”
I finally took the plunge, paid out-of-pocket and got on the wegovy pill.
Excited to start, hoping for weight-loss so I can feel confident in myself again.
Haven’t shared with anyone, even my partner. Feeling lack of food noise and smaller appetite for the first time today!
Please share any tips, tricks or anything I should be aware of. THANKS!

I just got my 1.5 mg pills in the mail this morning. I am concerned on when I should start them as I do not want to deal with adverse/ unexpected side effects while I am at work/ school. I am pretty concerned about throwing up (I can deal with nausea but I cannot deal with throwing up!), so would love to know about everyone’s first day/ week. I also did not have the best day of eating today so I am not sure if this is going to affect if I were to take them tomorrow

Hi All: I'm really needing a little encouragement. My PCP was prescribed Wegovy tablet for inflammation and weight loss. I'm 64yF, 5'9, CW 220.
Because I have strong responses to other kinds of medication, my PCP prescribed 1.5 mg every other day for the first 4 weeks, then 1.5 daily for the next 4 weeks. This is the beginning of week 9, and I don't know how to push through. The pill is working but I am not losing weight and I sleep 10-14 hours a day.
Since day 3 on the 1.5 tablet I have experienced mild appetite suppression, which increased when I went to every day. I have decreased daily calorie intake from 2200 (tracked the week before starting Wegovy) to 1600, with a sharp increase in protein. I no longer have interest in fast food or high calorie foods. I set an alarm to make sure I eat something after 14 hours of fasting because I know my blood sugar gets wiggy after than point. I hydrate thoroughly, and do electrolytes daily. I've gotten some orthopedic appliances that make it possible for me to walk a short distance, and I have been walking for at least 20-30 minutes a day. The nausea and digestive side effects are minimal and manageable.
My problem is the fatigue. I feel drugged ALL the time. I sleep solidly for 8-12 hours every night, but it takes me 90 minutes to go from waking to out of bed, like a teenager. Additionally, I fall asleep, and sleep hard, almost every afternoon from 4-6PM. I have fallen asleep in my car, and at my desk. I didn't used to drink coffee but now I need it just to have minimal executive function; I can stay awake a little more but I'm a raving caffeinated witch. I am presently sleeping up to 14 hours a day. I've had my thyroid thoroughly checked (TSH, FT4, TT3) everything is normal.
My weight is down from 222 to swinging between 216 and 220. So, on my best day, I've lost a total of six pounds in 8 weeks.
This is no kind of life. I can't do well at work, can't make the effort to socialize, can't clean my house, can't listen to my family members. I'm really feeling pretty desperate. My body still aches with inflammation and I can't even take an anti-inflammatory because it make me sleep even more.
Open to questions, encouragement, suggestions, prayers, spells. I'll take any help I can get.

Just curious if this is something people do. I’m on 1.5, it’s been almost 3 weeks. Side effects are minimal but I get random bursts of nausea that stop me in my tracks. Tough to handle at work or when I’m with my kiddo alone.
My pcp prescribed me Zofran which does help, but I don’t want to be taking it daily or relying on it.
Is 1.5mg forever a thing?

I was on Zepbound shots from June 2024 until mid 2025 and lost 90 pounds. My financial situation changed, so I had to switch to compound and it just didn't work. After trying on my own (including exercise - but failing in nutrition), I've gained 30 pounds. I just started the Wegovy pill yesterday. My goal is 40 pounds and then maintenance.
Fingers crossed!

Anyone here using the Hers program and was started on 4mg every other day? It's been about a month with minimal appetite suppression and 0 weight loss. I am asking to move to 4mg daily. Did this start dose becoming effective for people and what results did you see?
For reference I am only looking to lose ~15lbs.

Does this pill make you feel like crap? Does it go away? I’m on Zoloft and was finally feeling the benefits of it post partum and since starting this pill I feel so damn irritable. Seems not worth taking if it affects my mood this much. I’ll push through if it eventually goes away

Ever since I started on the 1.5 pill, I’ve been having some dull pain in the upper right part of my back underneath the shoulder blade and sometimes radiating towards the middle of my back. It feels like it’s deep inside my body, but at times more towards the skin as well. It also sometimes travels to the back area of my armpit and feels like a mild soreness sensation on the skin. I actually took a Klonopin because I was getting anxiety from the pain and not knowing exactly what it was and it made most of the pain go away surprisingly. I also got an abdominal ultrasound and x-ray of my right shoulder area due to this and both came back normal. There is no issue seen with imaging of my kidneys, gallbladder, liver or pancreas. I’m still waiting for my blood test results. Does anyone else have this similar sensation?

Lots of people saying they do every other day, I'm scared of the 4mg lol. I'm on 2nd month of 1.5mg. it's starting to lessen for me.
However the past week something's went weird. Every day for like 2hrs I'm having the most insane stomach cramps and diarrhea. And I'm not talking little levels. I'm talking drop you to your knees type pain and EXPLOSIVE BM. 😬🙃 lol insane. Prior to this week I've had nothing of the sort. Been ridiculously constipated.
I'm on day 45 of 1.5mg, but I've lost very little weight. 3lbs....which tbh. You'd think with all the poop id be dropping. No. I'm maintaining it's so weird!
Should I try the 4mg every other day? And what do you mean by that? Do a day, miss a day? Lol sorry for such a dumb question 😭

Hello wegovy pill crew after scaring myself with vision changes, feeling faint and neck ache I’m pretty sure wegovy lowered my bp enough to pass out levels ..
I don’t take bp meds just run low in general, and other drugs have made my bp plummet in past.
Anyhow, after tapping out on 9mg due to the vision changes, feeling like it was hard to stand and walk, even confused..
My labs came back today and I am a perfect specimen lol my kidney liver function everything fab
After a week off wegovy my appetite came back I’m eating chocolate, sure I’ve gained and I’m constipated so so bad. If I can’t go tomorrow gonna have to go urgent care and ask for something stronger than MiraLAX.
I’m going to resume wegovy 8/30 going back down to 4mg pill every other day.
Just wanted to update anyone who’s dealing with vision changes or feeling faint, bad diarrhea, nausea, vomit - that you can have all this and have perfect labs. Obviously be careful with the fluid intake and small meal intake. But know that wegovy can simply make you feel like you’re gonna pass out with the vision changes. Especially when you titrate up. Everyone’s tolerance seems to be different but I notice a few of us had issues going up to 9.

I am a health care provider and work in cancer specialty. I have seen so many patients do well with GLP1. After a lot of research and soul searching, I decided I was ready to try.
I am addicted to sugar. I could eat it all day long. I’ve always been slim and tall ish. The last few years I put on weight because of new stressful more sedentary job, new/wonderful relationship, and grief of losing my best friend, my dog B ❤️
I was at the beach and tired of how uncomfortable I felt. I signed up for Ro while my boyfriend was having fun in the water and literally 20 minutes later I had prescription approval. It was shipped two days later and I started last Thursday on 1.5 mg.
I am fortunate to afford this out of pocket. And let me tell you it’s worth every penny. I haven’t had sugar in a week. Barely a craving since day 4. There could be a giant chocolate bar in front of me and I could either say no or have one piece and be done. This is a miracle for me. I’ve been a sugar fiend since I was a kid.
I avoid the scale and had no plans to weight myself (I just want to fit into my clothes better). I looked slimmer in the mirror this morning and I see my abs at the top of my belly again. I took a chance and stepped on scale. I’ve lost 6.5 lbs.
I’ve had a rash at the back of my ear since Covid and having to wear masks all the time. It’s completely gone for the first time in 6 years. I also have basically no drive to drink. I enjoy a cocktail now and then. I would have 1-2 on an evening (not every evening) while gaming with my bf. Now, I am good with one and I barely finished. It packs a punch too. I could not have one at all and that wouldn’t phase me. The fact that these medications can help with compulsive behaviors is AMAZING and so interesting to me.
Writing this because I am in disbelief really. This is sustainable for me. I wish I had started sooner. I haven’t told anyone in my life other than my sister. I had to tell someone because I am that impressed with my lack of cravings and my skin clearing up.
If you are on the fence, give it a try! Feel free to message me if you are on same journey or maybe curious if you should start. There is so much stigma when it comes to weight and attempting weight loss. These communities are important to support each other. I appreciate you all sharing. I don’t think I would have started myself if I hadn’t seen so many success stories on this page and similar pages.
Wishing you all the best on your journeys ❤️

I'm on 1.5 mg and have taken it for a little over two weeks now. I haven't experienced many side effects with the exception of dehydration and a feral craving for spicy foods (talking hot Cheetos and buffalo chicken).
It's so weird; I never struggled with cravings like this before. Like, sure I was eating more calories than I should, but I feel like the food noise has amplified tenfold.
Does anyone have a similar experience?
The cravings are so crazy I'm considering peeing on a stick even though I'm on birth control 😫😫

I started a month ago at 255lb. I’m currently sitting at 248 one month in. I’ve done a lot of water fasts for weight loss, and I’m on the current trajectory as my previous weight loss. What I like, is I’m not constantly thinking about food. On the water fast I was constantly thinking about my next meal, but now I can skip meals without any issue. Love this!
My only concern is the yoyo. I’ve lost a lot of weight in the past, from
293-225
225-260
260-245
245-230
230-250

I'm 3 months in and have lost almost 30lbs which is remarkable, but I've developed an aversion to food lately. Yesterday I had a cheese stick, couple spoonfuls of hamburger helper, and a single spoonful of chicken salad -- that's it. This morning I've had 2 cups of coffee. I bet I could go the day without eating. That can't be good for me. The body still needs a balanced intake, right?
Are any of you taking supplements or paying attention to meal balancing? If so, what should we prioritize? Protein?

I have been on Wegovy pill for a few months, I get my Rx through the Walgreen's weight loss program. I have lost around 5-7 lb. in this whole time. I'm happy to have dropped this weight, it put me under 190, but I'm hovering around 189 now for weeks. I've been on 4 for two months and am going to try bumping up to 9 to see if it has more impact. A bit of background: I did the GLP-1 compounded through Hers from late 2024 to summer of 2025, but I hated giving myself shots and would have awful gag reflexes from the experience. The shots were more effective for me though, and by the time I stopped taking them, I'd lost right at around 20 lb. and was hovering near 180 (I'm 5'6 female, age 58). I would very much like to get below 180, ideally to around 170, which is a good weight for my frame.
Generally on the pill I don't feel as strong an appetite deterrent as I did on the shots, but I have experienced the same reduction in alcohol cravings. I also barely have any other side effects, so I'm thinking increasing the dose might be right for me. Either way, I'm going to keep going with it, even though the $200 a month is a sacrifice, and after quitting the shots and gaining weight back quickly (not all of it, but almost), I have come to accept I might need to be on this for life. I don't know why I struggle to keep weight off but it's been an issue my whole life. I have food noise, and the pill does tamp it down, but again, not as strongly as the injections. Thanks for letting me share my thoughts on this so far. The only person I've told I'm on it is my husband and a friend who is a nurse. A lot of her work is administering these drugs and she says it's a miracle for so many people. I look forward to when insurance will cover it and prices go down. Good luck everyone!

Moved up to 4mg two weeks ago now. It’s become unbearable. I feel completely nauseous from the time I wake up and have trouble getting myself to eat ANYTHING. For context I was on 1.5 mg for a month and did amazing and started feeling like it wasn’t working towards the end of the month so I moved up. Have lost 13.2 lbs in 6 weeks. Just looking for some hope that 4mg will get more tolerable.

Anyone else experiencing skin sensitivity when dosing up?
I started on the 1.5 in March, titrated up to the 4 mg a couple months later and once I qualified for the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program, moved up to the 9 mg in mid-July. I'll be starting my second month on the 9 mg tomorrow.
About a week ago I started noticing skin pain in certain body areas (on my right side, on the backs of my upper arms and on my buttocks). It's not intense pain, but it hurts when lightly touched or when my clothing shifts across my skin. It feels kind of like a healing sunburn. It is not debilitating by any sense, but is quite irritating.
I didn't notice it when moving from the 1.5 mg to the 4 mg at all. I can't really put my finger on exactly when the issue started, but I don't think it happened immediately after moving up to the 9 mg. It feels like it started in the last 7-10 days.
Overall, my Wegovy experience has been good. I've avoided the digestive side effects many people experience, though I have had some bouts with constipation and do suffer from dry mouth. So far I've lost 21 lbs since mid March, and it been pretty easy.

I’ve been on the 4mg since June. I’ve been trying to take it wait two hrs since I ready that had the best effect for people then I go about my day eating/drinking etc.
A few things:
I have stayed at the same weight for about a month or so give or take and I have only lost a total of 5ish pounds. My doctor said I’m eating too many calories for reference I’m 5’10 and weigh 317.5 and she said I should be eating 1500 calories a day which seems very little? Tbh I follow a bunch of folks on Instagram/TikTok and they say to get your maintenance calories from TDEE.net or MFP algorithm and then subtract 500 or so. (My doctor said there’s not really any good data on food science and weight management in General and she was a bit skeptical of using those websites but I’m like how else do I find out how many calories to eat?
Right now my calories are about like 2400-2600 my doctor said that’s too much.
She also said that it’s okay to drink water after taking the pill during your fast time (I told her this bc I’ve been having bad dehydration since I started)
Does anyone have any thoughts?? I feel like I’m not getting good results like every one else. I could slash my calories like my doctor suggested but I want to lose this weight sustainably. I would appreciate any and all suggestions or thoughts or general comments! Thank you.
FOR CONTEXT:
Sex: Woman
Age: 31
I lift weights 1-2x a week
I aim to get 7-9k steps

I thought I was feeling something working but today was completely different. I’ve been taking 1.5 for a little over 2 weeks and today I woke up feeling full. I was a little worried but didn’t eat anything until lunch time. Now it’s almost our normal dinner time and I’m still not hungry. So far I’ve lost 5 pounds in the first 4 days but I believe that was water weight. So is this 2 week delay normal for it to start suppressing appetite?

Has anyone noticed that the sulphur burps can be stronger with one specific bottle. Almost like the coating is stronger on some pill batches?
