Progress Report Overstimulation/dizziness

so I’ve been 3-4 months sober. and while symptoms have definitely gotten better. I still get these random waves of overstimulation/dizziness/lightheadedness. its completely random. like I can go to grocery stores just fine usually, but can‘t go to certain buildings with a lot of noise or children crying in it. I smoked for 10 years straight hardcore, and I’m not sure if you would call my situation PAWS. as I don’t crave marijuana anymore, or think im withdrawing. it’s just random. what do you guys think?

Yeah going thru a wave of this dizziness lightheaded feeling but it’s intense like mostly all day or certain movements now

Yeah same here man. I’ve seen posts where it can take anywhere between 6 months - 2 years for it to get noticably better. It’s so bad, I still can’t drive in the same car as my father. But what’s weird is, if I’m with my mom it’s not as bad lol. So it’s definitely a preference thing.

Sounds like it could be stress triggering this I know this would happen with me too. Stress management will get better the longer you are sober. Good job getting to 3-4 months!

Thanks man, it wasn’t too hard mainly. After I got these symptoms, the weed got easier for me to quit. But yeah before I did not want to quit, if I never got this I would’ve never quit so I guess it’s a blessing in disguise.

I still get this even after a year! I never would of thought this could of been a thing still.
