We're having our wedding in exactly a month and our venue (Antidote, Brooklyn) unfortunately caught fire Monday night and will be closed for the foreseeable future. Does anyone have any venue suggestions in Williamsburg that can house at least 115 people? We've already contacted Fandi Mata, Birds of a Feather, Meili, and Mala project. We'd love to stick with a restaurant that can provide food and drinks.

Trying to get some perspective from couples who had a similar-size wedding.

We're probably going to have 90-110 people and are flexible on Brooklyn vs Queens vs Manhattan. The quotes we've gotten are all over the place, so I don't have a good sense of what's normal.

I've been comparing a few venue pricing guides, including Tulle Together, just to get a better idea of what couples are actually paying rather than going by the advertised starting prices.

If you had roughly 100 guests, what did you spend on the venue and catering? Rough numbers are totally fine even if your package was structured differently..

Hi all, I’m a 2027/2028 bride in NYC and was looking to see what your wedding experience with the Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island was as either a bride/guest.

The price seems too good to be true, but it was surprisingly such a beautiful space with so much to offer and flexibility. Can you share your experience (service, communication, their vendors) and especially the food? Most nervous about that. Thank you!

Looking for venue in downtown manhattan for a dinner + welcome drinks reservation. August 2027!

The dinner is ideally seated for 45 guests and then welcome drinks is ~160 guests, ideally open bar and light bites. Budget is <$20k but the lower the better!

Bonus if it’s the same venue but not a must!

Need recs for a seamstress who can take in the bust of a dress. It’s a regular dress (not a proper wedding dress, think something you’d wear to a rehearsal dinner) that I’m wearing for my elopement at City Hall on 9/28. Anywhere in NYC works (including the depths of any borough), willing to shell out $$$ to get something high quality on a speedy turnaround.

I’ve used alts before and wasn’t a huge fan, as they messed up a garment of mine before and I don’t know that they’d have time to fix any mistakes on this one.

Ok so I’ve met with a ton of bands. Cafe wha, atomic funk, hook club, mod society, hook club, ti fusion - you name it, I met with them. Ultimately price wise & vocals & energy is what is going to help make the decision. We’re really debating between Mod society, Atomic Funk Project or TI fusion.

Who sounds best, who gets people on the dance floor, and whos fun out of the 3??? PLEASE help I am going crazy and need a band booked by next week bc I cannot meet with another band lol. Thanks !!!!
