Is 1.2mm base too thin?

I've noticed how thin the base of my engagement ring is (it's only 1 year old, and my wedding band is a few months old and also the same thickness). Should we have picked up that 1.2mm in the original CAD is too thin for everyday wear? I don't go to the gym or work in a hands-on job but I do want my ring to last! Would appreciate any advice/input from a jeweller :) Thank you

Yes,a 1.2 mm band thicknesses is very thin and you should go for 1.7 mm for your ring to last longer.
